Took the kids out from 4 - 6. They hit every house in the neighborhood and almost everyone was home. It was like Halloween when I was little (except my parents just let us go - we followed them the whole way). Hoping it starts raining soon to keep the big kids away!

I'm baking pumpkin cookies right now for daughter's Harvest party at school tomorrow. They're really sugar cookies I cut out to look like pumpkins with Halloween sprinkles.

I'm baking pumpkin cookies right now for daughter's Harvest party at school tomorrow. They're really sugar cookies I cut out to look like pumpkins with Halloween sprinkles.

I'm the only one in my extended family that eats pumpkin pie, so I have the whole thing to myself!

Everyone else eats the mincemeat or the pecan pie.
