I feel bad lol you have to have that thing bookmarked at this point the number of times you had to throw it out there. But I knew the comment with the link was coming lol In all seriousness that document should be put in a FAQ section on this forum

"Well I was just thinking that since Disney now owns marvel can't they do (enter idea here) at the world?"

I actually don't have it bookmarked. It's the first result on Google for 'MCA Marvel' (no quotes) and the seventh for 'Marvel Universal Agreement.' Its so easy to find now.

@Cmdr_Crimson I was just in Niagara falls last weekend. I rode the cheesey Spiderman knock off and I kept thinking wow this is very similar to the Spiderman ride at UNI. They even played a clip on a huge screen that I swear was the same clip they play in Uni where he throws the flaming pumpkin. It makes sense now knowing it was Marvel themed previously. I think Disney might create a Marvel resort with meet and greets there if they can find a way. I am sure they will bring them to DTD, and I know for a fact they smart enough to take Star Wars and run with it and give us a Star Wars land similar if not better than Potterland.

Have you tried the haunted shooter thing in the arcade across the street?

i dont feel like they'd fit in any Disney park. maybe Hollywood Studios..but thats about it. Superheroes to me, belong in amusement parks like Six Flags or Uni.

I just watched the Phineas and Ferb episode "Mission Marvel". And it was funny in spots - even the heroes had some good one-liners. But lord, those two franchises do NOT belong together. Even though P&F are barely Disney (those awful character designs). And forgive my frankness - but Marvel heroes are freaking UGLY. And Marvel villains are not only ugly, they're LAME. Seriously. Look at the DC villains - The Penguin, Catwoman, the freaking JOKER. And what does Marvel have? The Green Goblin? That hideous fat guy in the hovering metal suit? Dr. Octopus? Dang, no wonder Marvel went bankrupt. Their characters - except for Spiderman - are incredibly dopey. Just stupid sweaty little-boy fantasies. And they do NOT fit in with the Disney aesthetic.

So let Disney make movies with the dippy things. But please, Disney, keep those things OUT of the parks. Period.

1. You mean "Batman villians". The rest of DC's villain lineup is almost as weak as their "heroes who aren't Batman" lineup.

2. Nobody really cares about Superman anymore. Even Warner Brothers didn't think it would do well at the box office, so they went crazy on product placement and merchandising deals so that the movie made back nearly 75% of it's budget weeks before it was actually released. Paper beats Rock. Rock beats Scissors. And Iron beats Steel. ;)

3. MODOK isn't a "hideous fat guy". He's a hideous mutated cyborg HEAD created when the scientists at AIM murdered one of their cohorts and plugged a few super computers into his brain, causing him to go crazy.
Which still makes more sense than Batman's Clayface....who became evil after using toxic waste-laced makeup.

4. Marvel and Disney can team up nicely.

Feh. Pixar doesn't need Marvel. Heck, Disney doesn't need Marvel. Iger is just a cement-head who saw the purchase of Marvel as solving Disney's supposed lack of attractiveness for little boys. Like "Cars" wasn't enough.

Oh, people don't care about Superman anymore? Because of bad box office? Then people don't care about the Hulk anymore, because his movies bomb too. As for the rest of the Marvel critters, Iron Man did well because of Robert Downey Jr., who pulled in the chicks. My sister says that he's the ONLY reason she's seen any of the movies.

But frankly I don't care for superheroes as a genre. I did when I was a kid, but I outgrew them as soon as I no longer felt powerless. They're just power fantasies after all. They appeal only to adrenaline - not to the mind, the heart, or the soul. Belle has more guts than ANY Marvel hero. She faced down a fearsome monster WITHOUT any superpowers. So there. :p

Magenta, really??? Give us a break, this is utter nonsense. Iron Man did well because he's flippin' Iron Man. Iron Man is popular, simple as that, as well as other Marvel characters. They don't appeal to the mind, the heart or the soul? Is that a joke? Have you seen the films and read the comics? My guess is no.

Belle shmelle (she was dumb and tried to fight wolves with a stick), superheroes are awesome and they're coming to Disney parks, whether you like it or not.

1. Yeah. People didn't care about the Hulk either, especially after Ang Lee's screw up. It took Joss Whedon making the Hulk into a comic relief character to get people talking about him again.
Superman has never been so lucky. He had one and a half good movies, and then things fell apart and people have quit caring.

2. Robert Downey Jr. has also made bad movies. REALLY bad movies. "The Soloist", "The gy Dog", "Due Date"...the man is not immune to crap, and just because his name is on the marquee does not guarantee quality.

@fbp yes we did the Spooky shooter thing. I thought it was better than the Cheesy Marvel one. Things actually moved when you shot them, it was somewhat spooky from time to time and the ending horn/blast was a trip to watch people get scared. Very well done and laid out. I wanted to go one it again but my DD was scared enough after the first trip. The girl will go on space mountain 500 times but a little ride like that with a fake ghost or goblin freaks her right out. LOL
