Can Marvel characters / attractions appear at the hotels or DTD?

Disney seemed to have been testing the limitations of the existing Uni-Marvel contract with THE AVENGERS and IRON MAN themed monorails.

Is the agreement specific enough that we could someday have a Marvel M&G -- or even an attraction or restaurant -- outside the theme parks at the WDW resort hotels or DTD? I know my son and daughter would go absolutely nuts for a Marvel character breakfast.

If such a thing is possible, what and where would you want to see?

I'm not sure if it's possible but I personally have no problems with their addition. In fact my son would find it really exciting. My only concern would be that it be done in a way which respected the current themed areas. Take Thor and his planned appearances in Disney Land. I think it would look strange (ruin it's feel) to see Thor on Main Street USA but elsewhere it could be made to work.

Such a thing is possible! But not at Disney. A short drive down the road to Uni and your kids can meet the Marvel characters (and more.)

I just watched the Phineas and Ferb episode "Mission Marvel". And it was funny in spots - even the heroes had some good one-liners. But lord, those two franchises do NOT belong together. Even though P&F are barely Disney (those awful character designs). And forgive my frankness - but Marvel heroes are freaking UGLY. And Marvel villains are not only ugly, they're LAME. Seriously. Look at the DC villains - The Penguin, Catwoman, the freaking JOKER. And what does Marvel have? The Green Goblin? That hideous fat guy in the hovering metal suit? Dr. Octopus? Dang, no wonder Marvel went bankrupt. Their characters - except for Spiderman - are incredibly dopey. Just stupid sweaty little-boy fantasies. And they do NOT fit in with the Disney aesthetic.

So let Disney make movies with the dippy things. But please, Disney, keep those things OUT of the parks. Period.

I edited this because I misunderstood Luv's post. My mistake.

But I have often wondered if there are some ways Disney can capitalize on Marvel on the East Coast...maybe not attractions...but it doesn't seem that the contract specifically outlaws things outside the parks...

Also it looks to me (in my vague understanding of it) that Disney could use characters from "groups" that Uni hasn't used in the parks...am I wrong? And I know very little about the Super hero "families"...so maybe Uni has already used all of Marvel's families.

Yes because Disney SUCKS and UNI is the best...

Sometimes I feel like I'm on some Universal fan site...if you dislike Disney that much...why are you here?

All luv was doing was telling the OP to go to Universal, since that's the only place in Orlando where you can meet the Marvel superheroes, which is absolutely true. That's all.

I thought they could, the op asked if they could do something at the resorts or DTD, which I believe they can, they just cant do anything inside the parks.
There are other limitations based in plans Marvel had for a sort of destination Marvel Store that would have featured theme park type elements.

I recall several years ago they had a Marvel Adventure City park at Niagra Falls before it closed down to become just Adventure City.

It Had a DisneyQuest-esque like theme. Games and interactive rides like X-Men Combat Cars, Daredevil Obstacle challange, Some kind of Haunted Maze with The Hulk..But, the one that stood out was Spiderman: The Ultimate Ride. A cheap Knockoff of Uni's spiderman meets Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin..Here's what the ride looked like..
