You can get into a park for breakfast before opening time, as long as you have a reservation.

Sorry - I missed the fact that this was for DL not WDW

Dining reservations at DL are no where near as critical as they are in WDW. Walk ups and day of reservations are possible at almost every restaurant in DL/DCA.

You can search online and find the hours for last year of the time when you want to go, they are usually around the same time. It might help a little.

For the record, we had the OPPOSITE reaction when we headed for WDW last summer: "whaddamean, we have to get reservations just to EAT at DisneyWorld?????!!!!!!!!!" We were in the Disneyland way of thinking: when you're hungry, go find food!

Haha, hope you still found some good food at WDW. Even at the QS locations there is plenty of good stuff to be found.:)

I was prepared, but my mom wasn't and she wasn't feeling having to look at menus and try & make plans 7 months before our trip last year. Once we got there, she understood what I was trying to tell her. Staying at the Poly, of course when we got there she wanted to eat at O'Hana without ADRs, but at least she has a reason to go back now.

Breakfasts and lunches were all catch-as-catch-can at WDW last summer. Out of 5 nights, we had 2 ADR's. One was at one of the places in the France area of Epcot. The other was at Fulton's in DD. One night we ate at the food court at PopC, and yet another night we were out in Orlando and brought Olive-Garden take-out back to our room. Can't remember what we did that other night.
