A tradition for us on a Saturday night ( if we're not going out. ) is a nice bottle of bubbly, nothing too fancy, around £12.00 a bottle ($18.00)..So for my next vacation,I would like to treat Mrs Hatter to some bubbles when we're there, but where would you go for that nice romantic bubble..:geek: Hey! Bubbles inside the magic Bubble.:joyfull:

Being "Dry" i can't properly comment here but my favorite glass of the bubbly stuff was when we had shampagknee (spelleded as it is pronounced here ;)) was when my DW and I were gifted a glass and chocolates at 40,000 ft by the cabin crew when we were on our Disneymoon
Ah Shampagknee! Memories..Sham as in shampoo..Pag as in pagello..and Knee as in Kneezy..:jawdrop:

I can't beat free and I don't remember the exact name of the stuffo_O But once enjoyed a very nice glass of bubbly from Les Vins de France many moons ago. Although I like wine at home I usually try new drinks and a few old favorites while there.

That would have been " Chateau Du Paris La Grey Goose 1972.".. A lively effervescent Chardonnay with lasting bubbles that puts a smile on yer face..:joyfull:

I'll agree with Deb about the Kir Royale! Other than those, I don't do much sparkling wine in the World, unless it's during the Food & Wine festival. I like the Pomegranate Kir that the France marketplace booth has offered the last few years, and the Moët & Chandon Impérial at the Desserts & Champagne booth. The Rosé Impérial is nice as well.
