What a brilliant idea!! Hope it expands to the other parks too as so many people have dietary needs that I am sure it would be worthwhile & might help to ease people's fears about what is safe for them to eat.

Has the Garden Kiosk been closed during this time or is the switch happening on August 4th? More importantly, I'm going to need at least 3 other locations in the park to get a Jalapeno Cheese Pretzel and/or a minute maid slush. I only know of the Harambe Fruit Market and the Maharajah Jungle Trek Pretzel cart for Jalapeno pretzels. For the slush, I think Trilobites is the only other place in the park that has it.

Assuming they have nutritional info and not just allergy stuff, I would love this. LOVE it! But I need it at Epcot, not AK, lol. :)

It makes sense to start at AK, since there are less restaurants in the park. It's easier to give allergy information about snack items too, because you can't really change a pre-packaged or pre-cooked snack item, it is what it is. At least the guests will have an "idea" of what to eat and what not to eat. I think as a society we are in the middle of an allergy epidemic, I think the latest study was 1/10 people have a food allergy or intolerance. One last thing for all guests visiting WDW: IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE A DIETARY NEED, PLEASE CONSULT A DOCTOR BEFORE YOUR TRIP TO WDW TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT CONDITION YOU HAVE IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FOOD INTOLERENCE AND A FOOD ALLERGY.

AK makes more sense in a lot of ways. Nuts are actively in a lot of Asian and African foods. The chefs and CMs are great to help out and make the dining experience a lot easier. This will help more in my opinion with quick service and snacks.

Me and my cyborg pancreas would love it if carb counts were listed somewhere - even a rough estimate would be helpful. After years of guessing about park food, I've gotten it down pretty well, but that would sure be a nice bonus. I'm sure other T1's out there would appreciate it as well.

WOW! This is great. Good move Disney!

It's always tricky for us to eat at the World even with so much help and options. Anything that shed light upon and makes it easier for folkswith food allergies will be beneficial.

This really great!

We don't have food allergies, but we were very happy with the kosher dining options on the disney dining plan our last trip (jan 2010). It would be great if these snacks were kosher.

Another way in which disney goes above and beyond to serve their guests.
