On the drink..Rusty Nail yes..Loch Lomond cocktail nay..Vegetarian haggis yes..Scotch egg nay...Curious what you folk over the pond would like to see at my country's booth..Hit me with your ideas on food & drink..;)

I'm part Scottish (along with 7+ other bloodlines). Does this count?;)

Anyway, I did some research on Scottish food, and I came up with what I believe you call a Trifle or Tipsy Laird.

It sounds yummy. Would love to try a more authentic version.

Well Im all over that scotch egg!! I'm really suprised they didn't add either bridie or scotch pie in all honesty. (but thank goodness blood pudding isnt on the menu .... YUCK) Cranachan would be a nice addition I would think, no? (rasberries, honey, whiskey, whipped cream and oatmeal, toasted) Veggie Haggis!? Who woulda thought?!?!?!?

For a good Scottish meal I would start with a Cullen Skink, followed by Finnan Haddie the next course would be some Angus beef with neeps & tatties or rumbledethumps on the side. For dessert burnt cream and to end the meal some Lanark Blue or Dunlop.
Hmmmm.A man after my own heart..Cullen Skink can be awesome if cooked proper..
