Cheers to our Figgy for giving me this thought..Have any of you checked out other resort pool bars..I haven't but I have always wondered what the deluxe resort pool bars are like..I've had the occasional beer at CBR pool bar along with PORS...Now I hope this is legal and not breaking any Disney rules..If it is illegal,then this thread was conceived by Figgy..:P

We've tried several over the years :) Barefoot Bar at the Poly, Grand Floridian Pool Bar, WL Trout Pass Bar, Coronado Springs Siestas, Contemporary Sand Bar, Port Orleans, Mardi Grogs .... that's about all I can remember LOL I have to say, one wasn't better than another, always had a good time at them all :)

Ok all you resort pool bar hoppers..Don't forget there's a rule here..You must have at least one alcoholic or non alcoholic drink at each pool bar and get a photo to prove it..Hmmm.Just thinking here..Can you get the famous Lapu at the Poly pool bar..This could be fatal to a few of my Magic friends..:( I don't need to mention names..You know who you are.;)

Ive only gotten the Lapu Lapu at Ohana and Tambu Lounge. Never even thought to ask if they had it at Barefoot Bar, but I guess they could make one, sans the pineapple but what's the point?? Scraping down the sides of the pineapple is half the fun!! LOL

If we limit it to the upper East Coast of the US..I know a couple in the NY NJ. Area

Ok, we resort hop for the pool bars, mainly on the monorail loop, but we have a couple of favorites. We love Banana cabana at CBR, such a friendly staff there, and really know how to pour a drink. Also love the Poly Beach pool bar, hit that place up every trip, and the one upcoming to watch fireworks from. But I have the first picture with drink in hand, here's to ya!

This is going to be tough...I'm usually the one taking the pics! Case in point, here's DH and DD6 at Trout Pass back in 2011...but, I swear- I had a drink in hand at the time :D

Mods and Deluxe's....they all serve pretty watered down mixed drinks. If you are looking forward to a stiff drink to kick back with you better bring a flask to "doctor" your drink to your liking. I ordered rum punch at both Stormalong Bay and Coronado Springs pool and both were like hawaiian punch with rum extract in them.

Yes I have checked out and had drinks at a few pool bars, and as far as I know you do not have to be a resort guest to enjoy a libation. Here are the ones I have gone to: (* Favorites)
