Jungle Cruise refurb???

I was looking at the refurbishment schedule on Touringplans.com for our trip in September and I see that Jungle Cruise is being shut down for almost a month and a half. Anybody heard what the scope of work that they will be doing?

I really hope not! That ride queue was a classic walt original and I for one would be a bit sad to see it modernized. The whole thing is delightfully corny from beginning to end. If they could just get the captains to not "phone in" their spiel I would be happy!

The last time I went on a cruise, the back side of water needed a little touch up work. The front side was still in good shape though.

damn, interactive queue ... fudge. All I can say is that Disney should use Expedition Everest as the gold standard of queue's.

Un-freakin real how engaged I get in that line, makes a long queue feels like nothing at all.

I saw something in a Unofficial Guide that said that they would maybe add an effect to where it seemed like the hippos were rocking the boat back and forth.

I doubt that would be happening.
