Cinderella's Royal Table - Menu/Advanced Payment and Reservation Making

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but I have a few questions regarding CRT.

First of all , i have found out that CRT requires that you pay the full price of the meal ahead of time. Does this mean all items are the same price? What does it include at breakfast? At dinner (appetizer, meal and dessert)? Let's say we were trying to go for breakfast; would we be able to try multiple things on the menu? Is it sort of like a buffet, without the getting up and getting the food yourself?

Also, I tried making a "test reservation" to see how much they would charge me. I've tried this for the past three days and each time, I select the party members attending and click next, and then EVERY TIME it says the service is down for maintenance. Is this going to happen infinitely? I know this is really early but I'd like to have a trip for next april all planned out, and would like to make all the reservations in October, hopefully not running into these problems.

While it really doesn't feel that way...CRT is supposed to be all you care to eat...hence the flat fee. We've never asked to try anything other than what we've ordered, but I know others have.

The website is glitchy, so that may be part of the problem. You can check out the menu section on here or on Allears to get an idea for current pricing. Ultimately, if the website acts up when you need to book...you'll want to make the ADR by phone.

Okay, so technically speaking I could ask for the Lobster and Crabs Crepes and the Stuffed French Toast? Thank you for your help! In another thread (I think it was you) you posted a link to the old DisneyWorld site, and I was able to test the reservation on there and it worked!

We've been several times for dinner only and ordered a selected meal, my daughter didn't like what she ordered and they bought her something else which was delightful! Have it already paid for is a plus as well as the "free" family pictures you receive at the end of the meal.

My only complaint is I wish they would let you pic which picture you wanted. They choose the one of my DD "smiling" - it looks awful and forced. I would have much preferred the one of her and Cinderella hugging.

I went to CRT a few weeks ago for breakfast. All adults pay one price and all children another, regardless of what you eat. I asked if my husband was to finish one entree, would we be allowed to order another? I was told that yes, we could do this. However, we all got full off of what we had at first, especially since they give you a platter of biscuits and pastries as a sort of appetizer. The kids get a standard eggs, bacon, and french toast stick breakfast while the adults get to order from a few choices. I had the caramel apple stuffed french toast while the other adults in my party had steak and eggs. My daughter is picky and won't eat standard breakfast food so the chef came out to discuss what she will eat. He brought out the most beautiful plate of assorted fruit for her.
I hope you have a better time making reservations when the time comes. We really enjoyed the experience even if it IS overpriced. The theming is great and we enjoyed the princess interaction.

I have an old one from one of our first trips of the two of them hugging, the look on my daughter's face is precious. She really thought she and Cindy were best friends, one of my favorite memories ever!

When we went for breakfast, we picked what we wanted & they brought it. They did stop and ask once if we wanted anything more, and I think DH asked for more, but it was the same as what we'd ordered. I suppose you could ask for anything on the menu though, I hadn't thought about it! My only complaint was feeling a bit rushed. Once we'd met the Princesses, it seemed like our waitress stopped coming around, and we felt like we had to hurry and leave. All in all though, we liked it here, and are planning on having DD's 3rd birthday dinner here next year.

As far as reservations go, definitely call if the website isn't working. I find it to be glitchy sometimes, and other times it works great. But with a restaurant as high in demand as this one, the phone is the way to go if the site is acting up.

I hope the breakfast is better than the dinner. The princess' were fun for the kids.

We've done all 3 meals there and breakfast was by far the best...and dinner the worst. Still, experiences and preferences vary so much that you might find a bunch of other people who love dinner there. The newish breakfast menu also probably aided in our positive experience.

I have noticed with this new website that anything requiring prepayment or a credit card for an ADR won't allow you to make one online. Am I the only one?

I've had troubles with the site, but I've made pre-pay / CC reservations on it without issue (not always, but I've had issues making regular ADRs too, not enough to limit it to that specific category).
