In the video she says she has never ridden the ride before, which is true I suppose but she rode the DCA one several times with Jodi Benson when it opened there the other year. She must have forgot lol

If you grew up in the 80's and have seen Hanna-Barbera's Pound Puppies. Pat Carroll was the also the voice of Katrina Stoneheart in the series..

The character pretty much sounded just like Ursula..

My god, you just hit me with a nostalgia bomb...

Growing up in Germany, we only had one TV channel that spoke English (AFN)...so rentals were a HUGE part of my life, and that included FHE.

I just flashed back to age 7 or 8 or so....

I again thought this was a reference to the National Football League. I read that as "Pete Carroll" who's the head coach of the Seahawks.

But I don't want to watch that yet as I've gone so long without seeing the ride, and I'll hopefully be riding it Monday. Don't want to spoil anything!

Yeah, two years is a long time. Anyway, it looks like both Jodi and Pat have ridden both versions of the Little Mermaid. How awesome is that. I think they're the only voice actors from the movie who have actually ridden it. Anyway, here are some links for reference:
