Busch Gardens Williamsburg?

Thanks, Violet, for the report. I definitely think BGW is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. Glad you had a nice time. Glad we could help.

Next time visit Colonial Williamsburg (the reason that Williamsburg is a tourist area in the first place). You will experience more beautiful landscaping and a real sense of history, with a good amount of kid-friendly activitites but plenty of adult luxury as well. You can even stay in one of the colonial houses.

OK, how do you tag people like that here on WDW Magic. I understand in Facebook, but not here.

You just type @ and the username with no space between the two. A little box appears on the lower left hand side of the reply box and you click on the matching name. :)

I lived just 15 minutes from BGW for years and had season tickets most of that time. It is a roller coaster park, but is very well done. Even when I lived that close to BGW I still made at least annual trip to WDW or other Disney parks. Other than the Disney parks; I think BGW is the best there is. I also loved the water park that was also owned by them.

That's interesting, I was expecting a roller coaster park, since that is definitely the specialty. But it really didn't feel that way to me, since I don't ride coasters. I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do and see other than the coasters, although I liked watching them :)
