How far apart is Kidani village from the main AKL and Jambo?

It's a decent walk, but they have a shuttle that can take you back and forth between the two buildings. We used it when we wanted to go over to the Kidani pool.

Eh, maybe a half mile from lobby door to lobby door? 10 minute walk or so? As the PP said, they do offer a shuttle, or you can hop on any park bus to get from Kidani to Jambo, need to take a DTD bus to get from Jambo to Kidani.

Yep it's about 1/2 mile, leisurely 10 minute walk. easiest thing to do would be to take the shuttle that runs between the 2. They come and go every 5 minutes or so. You can also hope on any bus leaving Kidani as it will stop at Jambo House before going to a park. Leaving Jambo, you can hope on the Downtown Disney bus and that will take you to Kidani.

You can take a bus between the two resorts but:

All theme park buses go from Kidani first to Jambo second
The DTD bus goes to Jambo first and then Kidani second

Keep in mind that it could take you 20 minutes and maybe more to get a bus to go from Jambo to Kidani, but going the other direction it should be within 5 minutes. There is NO dedicated shuttle bus between resorts.

I would recommend simply walking if the weather is suitable. The walk is fairly short and pleasant.

They do frequently run (or at least have been in the past) a golf cart type shuttle between the two. Not a regular bus, but a smaller thing. Especially around breakfast time.

Interesting. I have stayed there more than a dozen times and have never heard of or seen such a thing. Is this something new that has recently started? Where does this shuttle pick up guests?

Doesn't make a lot of sense to do that. For breakfast, people would only want to go from Kidani to Jambo (since there is no morning food option in Kidani) and they have the 4 theme park busses to do that with.

I've never actually done it in our 6+ AKV trips, however I have had the front desk tell me they had one, and I have seen the cart sitting in the car port area. I've always just walked as it's not that bad.

We stayed there in August of last year and they did indeed have a dedicated shuttle that just ran between the two resorts. It was a beige passenger van that stopped at the front door near bell services every 10 minutes or so. We used it twice, so I can't guarantee that it's there all the time, and I don't know if it operates at all hours, but we saw it multiple times during our stay.

Thanks for the info, they must have had some complaints about using the busses. That is good to hear that they have dedicated transportation between the two.
