No More Burgers

When my boys order cs in MK they always seem to order buregers. They usually will eat anything so what would you suggest they order instead?

The chicken fingers aren't bad. Columbia harbor house has some different options for a cs.

Pecos Bill's and Cosmic Rays both have a BBQ pork sandwich on the menu. Cosmic Rays also has a good 1/2 chicken dinner. As stated by others CHH has a lot of fish options.

Columbia Harbour House is a great option or you can try the waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow.

Some of my DD's favorites, that aren't cheeseburgers:
CHH- the chicken strips on the regular menu are much better than the ones on the kids menu
Pecos Bill- She always goes with the burger here, but DS gets a chicken wrap, that always looks really good, and I am always a little jealous of.
Caseys-Hot dogs aren't hamburgers

Places we haven't tried, that may be interesting:
Gastons- I know they are big into the Turkey legs, so maybe the pork shank, there?
BOG- I don't think they even have a burger, although I suppose the steak sandwich is close, but not quite.

I agree, we had lunch at CHH for the *first time* last October (I know, right?!?!) and really enjoyed it. CHH, is now on our *must do* list (as is Casey's and Sleepy Hollow)

I would definitely get them off " Buregers " There bad for you.LOL. Now that Ive got that off my chest..Heres my list..Let them pick a Earl Sandwich of their choice..Any pulled pork roll...Casey's Dogs...Ribs from Flame Tree...Pizza to go from Via...

Rotisserie chicken from Cosmic Rays is good, so is the rib combo. Salmon at CHH or the fried shrimp, the hummus is a healthy option. So many places. Tortuga Tavern has burritos, nachos, and taco salads. Kids love nachos, and the burritos are really good.

They should get what they want.

I get the kiddie meals, usually. Sometimes it looks like kid food, too. The tuna fish at CHH comes on goldfish bread, for example.

Studio Catering Company at DHS has great sandwiches and no Burgers

I do disclaim that I have only had the veggie sandwich here though...and I have gone back every time.

My kids went through a similar stage and we coaxed them into ordering from the adult menu and sharing the plate or sharing with one of us. They really started trying different foods and then began to ask to go to different restaurants, other than fast food.

As for CS at WDW, I vote Columbia Harbor House. DH and I order one salad and one meal, then share them.

Sunshine Seasons is our go-to to get away from burgers place. I don't even think they offer burgers there. From the Asian offerings to the grill and the sandwiches (especially the Oak-Grilled Vegetable Flatbread Sandwich), you won't even miss a burger. And if that doesn't convince them, the desserts just might.
