Best way to find out opening date for California Grill?

We tried to make reservations for California Grill in Oct this morning (our 180 day mark!) and the CM on the phone said he could not see any more information than we could on the web site, so even he could not make reservations for it. He said it's scheduled to open in late summer, but there has been no official date released; hence no reservations available.

Any tips on the best way to find out immediately once the opening date is announced? We're going to be at Disney World on my son's birthday and we'd really like to go to California Grill for his birthday dinner. I know it books up quickly, so getting on the phone after they announce the date is important.

Right now the plan is just to keep checking their web site. Would the dining CMs know anything beforehand? I don't mind calling once a week or every few days, if that's what I need to do.

I'd call every few days just in case. Most importantly stalk the boards here for your best info!

I know you posted this a few days ago, but according to the disney food blog, reservations for cali grill are expected to be available within the next four weeks and still projecting early Sept. as an opening so keep your eye out!
