Places to avoid on our September 2013 trip?

I honestly don't think there are any places to avoid, the construction in the parks is walled off.
Only other construction I can think of is over at GF but if you ride the monorail you have to pass that eye sore.. Lol.
I agree. With even more of the new Fantasyland open than was last September, the flow should be much better. There was a real bottleneck in the Storybook Circus area last year to the point of "get me the heck outta' here."

There is currently nothing blocked up -- and there isn't all that much construction going on than you might think...Eventually Downtown Disney will be a mess, but even that won't effect the areas that resort visitors generally use...the things that are being constructed are walled off and to the side - there is no traffic flow disruption, and in all honesty, you won't even recognize it in most places...

They have walls up so people don't wander into constructions sites. There is no reason to avoid any specific place. Right now, walls are up in the MK, Epcot and AK, but I have no idea what will or won't be up in September.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Does that help at all, lol?

I am fully aware of the walls and stuff, sometimes think it all takes away from certain areas. That's all I was asking. Plus read some talk of new stuff at DHS. What is Dreamlight?

The lights will go up starting on September 12 and go until September 26. However, the crane should (hopefully) be down and out of sight during the day.
I was there in 2010, third week of September and had to look at the crane all week but tha was ok because I was at Disney! You think they could just magically put all the lights up in one night. Lol. The Osborn lights were also being put up as well.

I had breakfast there 7 -730am in October and it was normal crowd level. I think once you hit 7:30, it's downhill from there. Oh, and real silverware...it was worth the walk over from Pop!

I was in town for work once and got done with job 2 days early so thought I would sneak in two Disney days before flying home. I got a room at Pop and when I went down to the food court for breakfast I thought that I had walked into some bizarre feeding time at the zoo.

The PHOTOPASS person showed us a cute little trick when taking pics with someone when the Crain is there! You stand together person on the right throws left arm up person on left throws right arms up & poof you can't see the Crain! Lol. It's never bothered me, the construction never bothered me either, I mean it all has to be done somehow at sometime & if everyone wished it wasn't during their trip it would never get done! Lol.
