Cartoon artists at Animal Kingdom Lodge or DTD?

My kids want to have the self portrait character (cartoon) drawings done on our next trip. I've read that there is one at POFQ, but wondered if there was an artist at AKL or Downtown Disney?

DTD is near Ghiradelli and the Sports Store
DAK once you cross the oasis, it's on the right

Do we have to take them with us, or can they be sent to our resort? Are they bundled well to prevent bending or tearing?

They are put in a plastic bag- no support to prevent bending maybe you can ask for something though. I believe they can be sent to your resort.

I know that I have seen them there every time I go to Boma during the evening, so I think that is a safe bet. The setup is there even when the artist is not, so I would assume that they probably have the hours posted there. Good luck!

I believe it is just during the evening dinnerish time. I've never seen the one at AKL there during the moring or day time. I also recall seeing them at some of the values, so I think they exist at a bunch of resorts.

We had ours done @ AK, and they sent it to our resort. We packed it carefully when we left. It's a great memory ( but expensive, especially if you give the guy a tip).
