We are visiting from nov 11-22, and am aware there will only be one water park open during this time. The disney website is being awful and I can't seem to price a trip tonight, so I turn to you! What is the best option? Add watermarks and more. Or pay out of pocket at the gate of the water park? What's the cost? Thanks!

It depends. If you are getting tickets with park hopping or plan to visit the water parks and or Disney Quest more than once then the water park option is the way to go. Otherwise it is better to pay for a single ticket out of pocket, but just barely. The water park option without park hopping is $60.71. A one day water park ticket is $55.38.

The water parks and more option includes the following.

  • admission to Blizzard Beach water park
  • admission to Typhoon Lagoon water park
  • admission to DisneyQuest
  • admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (includes 30 minutes of game play at PlayStation Pavilion)
  • round of mini golf at Fantasia Gardens (before 4:00 pm)
  • round of mini golf at Winter Summerland (before 4:00 pm)
  • round of golf at Oak Trail family walking course (advance reservations required, clubs not included for adults, pull cart not included)

Just to clarify and not to step on Master Yoda's toes but even if you are planning on going one day to the water parks, it is worth adding the option to you ticket. The new pricing for this year is that if you add one of the two options (Park Hopper or Water Parks & More) it adds $60.71 to your ticket. If you add both options, it adds $84.14 to your ticket. Therefore, if you know you're going to have the Park Hopper on your ticket, adding the Water Parks & More option only costs and extra $23.43 per person.
