Favorite Place to Dine at Epcot?

My boyfriend and I are planning to take a day off, and go out for a date to see some of their spring concerts that are held at Epcot. Our only thing is, we don't go to Epcot hardly at all! (We're much more of a HWS kind of couple!).

We're planning on lunch, and we've only been to China. Any ideas for something new?

And remember, we're poor college students, so any lunches ranging around the 30-45$ area is out of the question :P

Wow...that's a loaded question! All of Epcot is my favorite place to dine in Epcot! If you're on a budget, stick with lunch. Rose & Crown is probably the cheapest place to dine of all TS restaurants & a pretty cool atmosphere! Restaurant Marrakesh is priced reasonably for lunch and very tasty! San Angel Inn isn't priced too bad for lunch, and the ambiance will make you feel like it's dinner time.

on a budget, I'd do the Fish & chips (UK)and people watch while eating. or perhaps Sommerfest for Bratwurst and beer

Agree! Bratwurst and a brew can't be beat. Are they still on the pretzel bread or is it just the sausage? The old counter next to Oktoberfest used to be our "go to" for lunch. Even our 6 yr old would gobble down the sauerkraut! Lost touch after the remodel.

Restaurant Marrakesh is my favorite. :) But if you want to feed two people for $40, I'd go to Sunshine Seasons in the land pavilion...or any of the quick-serve World Showcase places.

Sunshine Seasons has a nice selection, is pretty good and is cheaply priced, by Disney standards.

damn...another one...will definitely have to try it
Oh, it's so good. The pavilion is lovely. The people are very nice and always attentive. There is a belly dancer...well, for dinner. I don't know if they do it at lunch. And the food is tasty. :)

But I don't want it to get too popular! I can always get a table there and I want to keep it that way!

HMMm well depending on which service you r looking for you could try:

TS

Via Napoli (Italy)

CS

Boulangerie Cafe (France)
Katsura Grill (Japan)
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (Norway)
La Catina (Mexico
Tangierine Cafe (Morocco)

Also if those options don't work for you, consider taking a short trip through International Gateway and head to the Boardwalk resort area for

TS

Big River Grill (BWR)
Beaches & Cream (Y&BCR)
ESPN Zone (BWR)
the Fountain (Dolphin)

CS

Boardwalk To Go & Pizza Window (BWR)
Cabana Pool Bar & Beach Club (Dolphin)

OMG! You HAVE to try Via Napoli! The pizza is delicious! We tried it for the very first time when we went in November 2012 and it is now a MUST do every time we go! :)

I would say it totally depends on your palet and appreciation for other cultures foods. the most authentic restaurant in the world showcase is without a doubt Restaurant Marakesh. However, it does not make it the best, you must like Middle eastern/Morrocan food to enjoy it. I would suggest this is you are adventurous and appreciate lots of flavors. If this is not the case i would suggest something you can't always get elsewhere (in other words, China, Japan, Mexico, England, Canada, Italy each of which are easy to find anywhere) I would suggest France, simply because its fantastic, well disciplined food. The orange duck is fantastic! Or try Germany, if you want something hearty. Good luck!
