We have nver been, I heard its a fun place to eat :) But i'm wondering how much fun ... MY DH is a bit shy.. but he can deal with a little bit of fun.. but i'm concerned about my DD she is very sensitive and that is why ive not taken her to the one at DHS I was worried they'd get on her and she'd take it to heart. I was wondering what kind of stuff they partkae in here at this resturant, is it the same things (elbows on tables, hats at tables etc)

Super structures are my specialty!
Not as much ribbing as 50's Prime Time Cafe at DHS. If you get more than a couple drink refills they will make a comment and bring you a huge mason jar to drink out of. If you ask for ketchup, every table in the place will bring you their bottle, etc.. I can see how some folks don't like the unwanted individual attention, WCC would probably not feel like you are being picked on, as much as you are being engaged in a fun interactive way. For the record, we love both of these and eat there each trip. Sometimes we hit WCC twice, once for breakfast an once for dinner.

We love 50's PT, but didn't care for the antics at WCC. The 'fun' at 50's PT was more individualized and didn't get announced to the whole room. The 'fun' at WCC is announced to the whole room. We aren't the type of family that wants to receive ketchup from everyone else or participate in "I'm a Little Teapot" at the front of the restaurant or "pony races" around the restaurant, etc...

It's good fun, great for kids. Very loud and very happening, it is funnier and more silly than 50's. I don't think you would feel "picked on" but there could be something going on at your table that might be watched by other tables just because everyone wants to watch the fun. Go and have a wonderful time!

I have the same type of situation. My wife wants nothing to do with being singled out and my daughters not real fond of that either. My wife even ordered her pot roast at 50s prime time with no carrots so she wouldn't get "yelled at" for not eating her veggies. Lol. I don't think you really have much to worry about. At both places they were pretty good about figuring out who was receptive to the act. If they feel you want to be left alone then they won't push it. At least they never have for us. So I would go and enjoy because WCC is really a good place and worth trying.

Your daughter will love the place, you will love the place, your husband will love the place. Regardless of what you are eating? Ask for some ketchup :).

Sandy and I are 61. EVERY morning, two trips and 16 days per year, we go to WC for breakfast. Our children are grown... but we love to see how much fun everyone ELSES little ones are having :). The staff is wonderful (we know most of them by first name), the food is great, and the atmosphere is perfect :).
That's it @Trotsky we are definately going to WCC this year! LOL I am so looking forward to staying at WLV for the first time, and was undecided if we should do WCC for breakfast on our arrival day, or for dinner... maybe both?!!??!!? :)

Not every table is made the center of attention.

And sometimes, when you ask for ketchup, they just bring you a bottle of ketchup.

You may well get through a meal without being the center of attention. But you might be picked, too.

If you just could not stand to be the center of attention, simply tell that to your server. :)

Breakfast is a much better value than dinner. We used to do dinner until the menu changed last fall from reasonably-priced individual entrees to a pricey "all you can eat" buffet-like menu. If you want the best-value good-food buffet at WDW, take the boat from WL to Ft. Wilderness and eat at Trail's End.

We had ADRs at WCC last Oct., when they changed the menu, we changed our ADR, but really looking forward to WCC for breakfast on our arrival day (first time vacationers at WLV, usually stay at the Poly) We just thought breakfast at WCC would be a great way to start our vacation. :)
