Sorry, there maybe more posters on that forum but there is so much more disagreement on everything. I go over there and read for tips sometimes but joined this 1 because everyone is so much more friendly.

I noticed the same thing over at the dis. I rarely ever post because of that, pretty much just read. Here, everyone is so friendly! I have been on this board since 2006 and I love it here!

We need time for things to happen.
I've lurked there a few times and even posted once or twice. I never got the vibe that I get here.
I can't describe it but the other site feels a bit "sterile" I don't know if that makes sense but that's how I feel about it.

Ya know what Shookie, we are of the same mind set. I dont mean to down any site, but wdwmagic is the best I have ever found, and yes, there are alot of us who post daily (personally, I post here more than on facebook) and we do have alot of members who (as much as I hate the terminology) *lurk*, which is fine
We all hope the info they need, all members find our experiences and opinions, helpful.

I've never posted on another Disney site. From what I hear about other sites, I'm glad I don't. People here are so friendly, and so knowledgeable. It's just a great place.
And I'm like @DisneyDebNJ . I post here MUCH more than I do Facebook. I don't think I've even posted 100 things there.

I for one enjoy this community, I have been over to dis once or twice but have had little interest in it...and while I know a couple of people (looking at my hubby) who visits this site a lot, they aren't much of message board posters in general. That being said, it doesn't mean he doesn't use the advice. We often have convos about it during our commute. He enjoys the advice and the chit chat as much as I do.

I post here more than Facebook, too. Heck, I check in here more than FB. I love chatting with you all, and everyone is very friendly, and helpful. And it helps brighten my day when I read a trip report, or two.
