Sorry about your chilly weather...I know it sounds nuts, but I'm jealous. We hit 90 here yesterday...talk about total opposites.

I made some shepherd's pie the other night and it seemed like perfect food to warm you up, aside from it being very filling. So, I'm guessing either a trip to Raglan or R&C for you on my plan :)
Whit!!! 90 ..How are things in Death Valley ? Love those Joshua trees.;)

Temperature-wise, I agree with your wife...but only after we get rid of all the icky, yellow pollen that covers EVERYTHING...can't open a window until those pines are done.
Yes, the pollen is awful here in the spring, with a blanket of yellow. We actually have to pressure wash the house, porch and driveway each year. When a spring rain comes, rivers of pollen flowing down the drive.

We're a tad early on the pollen, which will have a big impact on that special little golf tournament during the first full week of April...as all the azaleas and bradford pears, etc... are in bloom. They'll be past prime in 2.5 weeks...except at the golf course. They have systems to help control the 'weather'.
