Tomorrow is the first day of spring and today we are getting a foot of snow! Why do I live in %*&#@ New England, but I digress. Figgy you need some old fashion pot roast to warm you up either from the 50's Prime Time Cafe or from the Liberty Tree Tavern. If you're still cold after that head over to the Rose & Crown for hard cider.

Well @figmentfan423 it looks like your gonna have to get in that kitchen and rattle those pots & pans. Last week I popped into my local butcher, got me some real nice pork ribs ( sorry, forgot your a vegan ) Well Thats that recipe out the window. How about my version of a Sanaa classic. Saag Aloo Curry..Which is Spinach & potato. Par boil yer tatties and blanch yer Spinach. Then mix Cayenne,Chilli paste,Tumeric,Cumin, and Garam Masala in a bowl. Get yer food blender out and add 1 tin of chopped peeled tomatoes and spice mix.Zap it for 30 seconds and add it to the pot containing Spinach & potato, bring back to heat and cook slowly for 15 mins.Serve hot with Basmati rice and Parattas. For that extra bite, add some hot kick sauce you get from Texas.;)

It is 50 here right now headed toward 70. The dogwoods and Bradford pears are blooming and the jonquils are just peaking their heads out from their winter nap. I just made a huge omelette with peppers, onion, mushrooms, rotisserie chicken chopped just right, salsa, sour cream and Tiger Sauce, three eggs. It is big enough to share, but we would have to explain it to my wife! And she would probably wonder why I left the chicken out of half of it.
