How much cash do you carry in the parks?

So how much cash are people carrying in the parks for misc like ice cream, balloons, hot dogs?

Also, does anyone know of a price list of items like that?

I like to be prepared. :D
The link @figmentfan423 posted is your best bet. What we normally do during our trips, is buy a gift card with a sizeable amount on it, encompasses costs for food kiosks (during food and wine) gift and souvenier purchases, and also helps us keep an eye on how much we're spending. Any monies left over, I get everything I see with Pluto on it LOL

I used to go down with about $6,000 in cash and leave most of it in the safe in the room. Just took what I needed for the day. Now, I take down about $400 and my debit card. Each morning, I'll go down to the ATM and just take out what I need for that day. There's a couple of benefits to this:

1.Not having to carry a ton of cash with you while traveling.
2.Not having to bother with traveler's checks.
3.Not having to worry about leaving a lot of money in your room.
4.If you're taking money out from a vacation fund, by doing this, you only take what you need. Normally, I'd take that $6,000, and whatever I had left over, I'd spend. Now, I just spend day to day what I need. Leave a lot more left over for the next vacation.:)

I carry very little cash each day (maybe $50), charge to my room or to my Disney Visa (start building up those $$$s for my next trip). I don't even carry a purse anymore. I have a cute denim Mickey Mouse coin purse with a hook on it, which I hook onto my belt loop. Then I've got my sunglasses hooked onto another belt look and my camera hooked onto my belt. I love being hands free.:)

I pay cash for everything. Too much ID fraud. A city near WDW just found someone had put one of those skimmers into the ATM and put a camera up to record PIN numbers. That's low on the scam totem pole, I know, but still...

With these skimmers so easy to add to any swipe machine and those wand things people can use to steal the info right out of your wallet without ever touching you...I just don't want to bother any longer.

Cash is just easier for me.

We bring our Disney rewards card with reward bucks that have accumulated on it. Bring Disney gift cards that I receive from relatives for B-day or Christmas. Cash? I turn saved cash into travelers checks and usually plan to exchange for cash at the resort desk... about $100/day for any items I want to pick up that don't get purchased by credit card or using other cards. Very rarely does the $100 daily pocket cash allotment get used up. At the end of the trip any money not used, goes right away into my Disney fund....for the next trip.;)

I go here: http://www.giftcards.com/ and get personalized cards for everyone and everything. What I mean is I get one card for each of us with half of our money on it (approx. $500) and we keep the other half in individual envelopes in the room safe. Each day we will take out any money that we each need. The other cards are for gas (rental car), extra merchandise that I do not want us to spend personal spending money on, what I call "oh crap" money (for emergencies), food money, etc... Each of these cards can be customized with a specific name and personal picture too. So our individual cards have our own photos on them with our name and the words "Spending Money" underneath. The food card has a Disney Restaurant on it with the name "Food", and the "oh crap" card has a photo of a Red Cross on it.

My wife and I have the same affliction. Hers is Pluto and mine is (obviously) Goofy.

we bring just what well need for the day, like alot of people on here id say about 50-60 bucks...we use our food plan for our snacks, we might spend out of pocket for xtra snack per day....then for souveniers, we tend to get an overall idea of what we want during our trip and then get it the last couple days there. Granted, ill get pins throughout the trip, the occasional post card etc...but the bigger ones well just wait on. We may have them forwarded to our resort next trip though...it sounds tempting
