Parking Lots Question

Quick question about the parking lots.
What time do they open in the morning? Is it related to the opening time of the parks, or is there an everyday set opening time?

I don't think they're 24 hours. A CM friend who used to work in WDW Security said they tow away any cars left overnight.(I was curious and asked her what would happen to a car left in the Epcot lot because its owner had drunk too much and took a taxi home)

So while they do leave a lane "open" at the entrance plaza after the CMs manning the booths go home, they do close the plaza back up again at some point early in the morning and hold cars there until an appointed time, which is when the CMs out in the lot are ready to start directing cars to parking spaces.

I have never had a problem getting into parking about an hour before rope drop! We usually show up for SWW and have no problem parking at about 5 or 6 am! Hope this helps!

I've no problem with 2 hours or one hour before opening. I'll likely be the first one waiting at the entrance plaza each morning anyway.

I called once to say we had left our car at Epcot and to see if it would be a problem. It wasn't. They told me to pick it up the next day. I said I didn't know the license number but could describe it...not necessary.

Based on that, I know they don't tow all cars left in the lots.

People get drunk, have medical emergencies, thought someone else was supposed to drive it back, etc. I'm sure it happens every so often.

Don't know what time they open the lots. We arrived at the MK nearly two hours before opening once because we thought it opened earlier than it did. We got in. Monorail was running, too.

Too much Apple Cider and you go nutters, so ya gotta take the bus back to your resort room. :/ Sadly for me I live on a cloud and their isn't a heli-taxi service around so that's out of the question.
