AAA 2013 Brochures - Disney's is AWFUL!!!!

I just picked up the 2013 brochures for both WDW and Universal. Now, I don't know if AAA makes these things or Disney and Universal, but Disney's is absolutely awful!!! For starters, Disney's is a very cheap paper. It's only 23 pages, where as Universal's is 44 pages. There is a map in Disney's showing where the resorts are, and that's it. No more detail or pictures on ANY of the resorts. As for the parks themselves, no maps, just quick details on about 3 attractions at each park. Universal has maps of the parks, details on each and every attraction, detailed map of CityWalk, and the resort section covers the 3 on-site resorts with pictures, details about rooms, food, pools.

Honestly, if I were a newbie and I walked into AAA and picked up these 2 brochures, I would be unable to book a WDW vacation. That's how utterly useless it is.

I'm shocked. I mean, Universal's has been at least as nice (if not nicer) than Disney's for a few years now, but this year's is a joke. My guess is, these have to be printed up by AAA and they get a much bigger cut on Universal vacations than they do Disney's. I can't believe Disney's marketing team would look at that and think it's acceptable.

A friend of mine used to work for AAA. She said they got a LOT more stuff from Uni that they could give people and it was always nicer.

I've NEVER been impressed by the brochures... Fortunately I think most people have pretty much made the decision about taking the trip before they pick up the brochure... and once they go into AAA to talk to an agent, they get an agent whose been to Disney and can give them a better sales pitch/ advice.
But yeah those brochures . Birnbaum and other guide books are on the rack next to the brochures, so people probably flip through those as well to get a better feel / view of the parks .

All around AAA used to be better in general. I used to love getting the TripTiks!
