Favorite spot for a napping kid?

Anyone have any favorite quiet spots inside any of the parks for that inevitable moment when your little one finally succumbs to the excitement and falls asleep? Our youngest almost always crashes in her stroller after lunch, and we typically try to rush to the nearest quiet spot so that she can make up as much of that sleep deficit as possible!

One of our favorite spots (in the MK) that we've used recently is the little alley to the left of Pirates (facing the entrance). There are a couple of benches on one side, and a wall on the other, that are great places to sit, usually with shade, and the crowds walking past are far enough away to keep the noise level down. As an added bonus, this is the path that pirate Goofy takes during his "breaks" from greeting kids, so he and other cast members are always walking by - a nice little surprise when she wakes up!

Any other "secret" spots you've used for you little ones?

Lucky you! My kids NEVER slept for more than 1/2 hour on vacation and that was at 13 months!! Sometimes I wish mine would slow down! That being said The Rose Garden in MK is always quiet, any of the gardens in EPCOT, the trails in AK, ABC Commissary in HS! Have a magical time!

Our little one has had many a nap at WDW! She doesn't stay asleep long, but it happens quite a bit. We've found several places in Future World that work well. World Showcase seems to be more challenging, but the garden in the UK works, and she's even napped on the terrace by the water in front of Germany.

I've used that spot next to pirates before also. Quality quality spot (you can also change a diaper there without drawing attention). I think WC is the best as you can always find some quiet places there. If the band's not playing, the courtyard behind the shops in England at Epcot is pretty good and in the back of france there are some tables near the coffee shop which can be pretty quiet. At AK, I've used the benches in front of the entrance to Dinosaur. There is shade and quite a few benches and it typically is not crowded. Walking slowly along the AK trails with the shade and relative quietness is a good one too. For late night (or past bedtime) at DHS I've always used the exit to TOT and walked in circles with the stroller and then my wife and I just switch off going on the ride.

There was just too much going on in the parks for my kids to ever get any kind of quality nap in any of them. So, we always headed back to the room for a solid nap. It actually was great since it meant we could hit evening EMH and go till late.

Keep it coming. Our next cruise includes a park day and we have decided on MK. I have been wondering what I am going to do, especially with the 2 year old. Going back to the hotel is not an option for us and it looks like buses back to PC don't start till 4:00. So, its gonna be a long day. I know both kids will sleep on the bus on the way back, but I'd like to have an option during the day.

Ours was 2 last trip, and she has always been good about snoozing in her stroller while we're cruising around the park. She also has fallen asleep twice in both Haunted Mansion and FOTLK! If we were ever really concerned about her getting as much sleep as possible, we'd head straight to the baby care center (next to CP in MK) and rock in the air conditioning. However, there are plenty of little places out of the way inside the park.

The next best thing would be to hop the ferry over to the Wilderness Lodge and just stroll them around the resort - there are plenty of quiet places there!

I don't have little ones...But I still enjoy a nap every now and then!

Top attraction nap spots - Impressions de France, Hall of Presidents and American Adventure.

Park nap spot? Without question - in EPCOT near Universe of Energy. It's walking towards the ride...there is a grassy area and benches around it. I laid on my fiance's lap while he ate a snack and napped for about 15-20 minutes. Glorious!
