What's better at Disneyland than WDW (or vice versa)?

This! LASLtBS is my favorite song from the Tiki Room. I just wish the intro was still intact. "And now our national anthem."

Definitely my favorite as well. "Let's all sing the biiirrrdies sing... Tweet, tweet tweet, tweet tweet..." Wish I was watching the Tiki Room right now.

Ditto on the intro part.

I doubt it would ever happen, but I would really love to see them bring back the full show without any edits... and the enchanted fountain... (Well at least it's still at DL. WDW, all we get is a smoke machine. wooo [sarcasm]) Oh and fix the flowers. Ya, they don't currently work.

Maybe they should just totally start over with the MK version.

Well, they used to be the same exact show. Disneyland's was called The Enchanted Tiki Room and MK's was called Tropical Serenade. Then around (I want to say) 1998 is when the edits came in and Tropical Serenade was changed to Under New Management (shudder). Then a fire broke out in the attic and burned the Iago animatronic (it was a miracle). After that, they decided they wanted to bring Tropical Serenade back except call it under the original Disneyland title of The Enchanted Tiki Room. Well they did, but only restored like 65% of the show. I don't know if you knew all of this already and I just wasted my time typing this, but I did anyway just in case you didn't know. :)

Actually I didn't know some of these things. Thanks for the history lesson!

New Management gets made fun of and jokes about in DCA's Aladdin show.

Now Tokyo needs to get their original tiki room back.
Brace yourself, for this video is real.

- DLR's railroad has way more to look at then WDW
- DTD in DLR seems to have a little more to do and locals really like it! But I do love Market Place in WDW
- Fantasyland's rides in DLR since there are so many options though WDW is coming along
- Food options around DLR are much more vast than WDW's
- Innoventions in DLR's Tomorrowland has a better concept though they do not have Sum of all Thrills
- it's a small world in DLR is wonderful especially the outdoor queue
- Mainstreet in DLR is more immersive and has more to do than WDW
- Pirates of the Carribean in DLR has the best ride but the queue can't compare to WDW's
- Resorts in WDW are far better than DLR bar none.

Haven't been to DL since 1977, but I do remember loving that resturant ... Blue Bayou, I think was its name and it was right next to POTC, which was really cool. But now you'all got me yearning to make another trip to DL; its been way too long!!
