On a Budget Trip Planning

Okay, so I'm planning a very special anniversary trip for my fiance and I and our budget has had to be reduced slightly. SO that being said, and don't get mad at me, it's just an option BUT if you had to choose between EPCOT or Animal Kingdom in December, what would you choose, we're thinking about not going to Animal Kingdom to save a little money. Thoughts?

Well- it all depends on what you like best! If you like Test Track and Soarin plus World Showcase and many dining options- EPCOT. If you like animals, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, Festival of Lion King and Nemo show, then AK it is! ENJOY!:)

epcot!! our first trip we didnt do AK at all, then we did AK on our last trip and it was cool, the layout of the park was great, the landscaping was amazing, trees, animals, the views of everest and the safari was great. But epcot is just well.....epcot! IMO, theres nothing greater than the flower and garden festival, the florida sun on your back, the winds rushing around the lake, the monorail going by....i love the area by the upside down waterfall fountain...and the world showcase...need i say more lol

It's a tough call. You really should choose for yourselves.

If I were cutting a park, it would be DHS. We all have our favorites and least favorites.

Agree with this. It depends what you like. I too would cut out DHS because I prefer to ride Expedition Everst and ride Kilamanjaroo. My wife would pass on AK because she loves Rockin' Rollercoaster. Between those two I would prefer to go to EPCOT. There's more to do, and you'll have more time. AK usually closes early, where EPCOT isn't. World Showcase tends to be open later. You can always have a drink or two around World Showcase.
Since you are on a budget, there are other things you can do too. We always stay at a value resort. I don't know if you are driving but we always drive since we live 3.5 hours a day. We take snacks and some sandwitches with us into the parks. In the evening we'll drive to the area west of World Drive on 192 and eat there and that saves money too. Just a few more ideas. We like to make a couple of 3-4 day trips in a year so that lets us save for the next one.
