Will Brad Bird's "Tomorrowland" spur a refurb or expansion?

Brad Bird's "Next Big Thing" after completion of 1906 is going to be a movie based on and around Tomorrowland. From what little we know about it, is that the storyline has links to the Walt Disney Company circa 1950s-60s (from this viral marketing pic), might involve aliens, and is currently in negotiations for Hugh Laurie to star as the villain of the movie.

So...what are the odds that after the time and money spent on Fantasyland, TDO will start moving clockwise and get Tomorrowland next? And perhaps Adventureland, when the rumored Tim Allen/Tom Hanks Jungle Cruise movie finally gets made...

Oh and Jon Favreau's NBT is going to be a Magic Kingdom movie. That's all we know so far, but the early rumors were that it was going to have a "Night at the Museum" feel. Take that how you will.

I'm guessing it won't, but you never know.

The Magic Kingdom film, if it even happens, is supposed to take place in Disneyland.

Has there been any progress on that film? Haven't heard any plot details in a while come to think of it I've never heard any actually besides taking place in Disneyland and having that NOTM feel to it.

Edit: BTW, I think WDW's tomorrowland won't get squat.

I don't think there has. I haven't heard anything. I wouldn't be surprised if the project eventually gets cancelled.

Yeah, the park in the movie is supposed to be Disneyland. I don't know how the filming part would work.

Please not. If you are going to involve the names Walt or Roy, then any Tomorrowland revolving around aliens, cartoons, and movie franchises is an affront.

The current TL is bad enough as it is. DL's is even more of a disaster zone.

Personally, I would make both go back to their roots, on account of enough time having passed to make the originals appear retro by now. Instead of 1890s Jules Verne retro as in DLP, I'd base DL's TL on Verne's 1950s spiritual successor, the mid-century's greatest visionary: Walt Disney. WDW's TL in turn I'd root in 1971. Lots of oranges and browns, futurism, period placemaking.
