I don't know about all of you fantastic people... but in my planning every trip I tend to do things that remind me of good times gone by, my son experiencing his first Mickey visit, first ride on Its A Small World, his first visit to Typhoon Lagoon, his first Chef Mickey breakfast. I relive just about ALL of the firsts, every visit, (he is now 24 yrs old) and cry atleast once a day reliving wonderful memories of a small tot falling in love with a fantasy. What are you must dos in the name of nostalgia that makes your heart swell and so thankful for past visits? We try to plan something for each day that reminds us of good times in the past

Super structures are my specialty!
First park meal is always CP, doesn't matter what time we get there. It was the kids first meal at WDW on the first visit and it brings me right back to seeing their eyes the first time. Then we head to Frontierland for SM and BTMRR which still make them grin like the Chesire Cat.

We started going to WDW the year it opened as kids and stayed at the Polynesian Village for about $29. Our family would look forward to late night visits to the Barefoot Snack Bar for hamburgers and fries. While some things have changed about the Poly (including the name and especially the price), we still love to get back there every trip no matter what resort we are staying at. The beach, the torches, the music and the great ceremonial house all bring back great memories of many vacations we were so lucky to have been able to take.

Oh yes, I remember the tickets, espcially the E tickets! And the crazy thing was, we would be staying at the resort for a week when there was only the Magic Kingdom and we had to use only so many tickets. Suffice to say we got in a lot of pool time and rides on the monorail....LOL. Good times though for sure!

Ah nostalgia. Apart from all the foodie stuff we don't get over here and my favourite Root beer. Our first visit to PORS in 2008 we met the CM who told us the story of the couple & the tossing dime.So that year and our two previous vacations,we toss our dimes into the Sassagoula from that bridge and make our wishes.;)

My dad started this on our first trip. He told my daughter that if she was good and did not ask for something every minute from a store that she could pick out a stuffed animal when we left. This is something we do every trip at the end of each day. It is one of the small $10-$15 animals and she has them everywhere. She loves putting them in the window for everyone to see. The cleaning ladies sometimes organize them and set them up.

We always eat at Ohana, either on the first or last morning of our trip.
I always get a picture with the kids in front of the giant troll in Norway, my wife gets a picture with the kids in front of the same fountain in Italy. We had our pictures taken there on our honeymoon so we made it a tradition with our kids.

Everywhere I look in WDW there are memories. I've been going since I was 9 months old after all! Our trip in June will be the first trip with my daughter (she'll be 20 months). I'm sure I will cry multiple times on this trip and can't wait to start making our new traditions as our own little family.

I was looking back through old family photographs and saw that we have a pic of me and my sis with Pluto as young kids (3 and 8), and teens (13 and 18?) and I am going to insist we get a pic of just us on this trip (30 and 35) and frame them all together. :)

Every time we get to the seas my boys start going mini mine mine! I always get a picture with the sea gulls and my boys(just dump gulls at home) When they walk up to POTC the start singing a Pitates life for me. It doesn't matter how old they get certain attractions have them acting like they are 5 all over again! We also alway get a picture of them on the speeder by ST. Hope they never grow too much!

OMG the memories, taking my son for the first time after his diagnosis, all week he wouldn't go on a thing, then the very last day, very last ride he agrees to go (the car ride in MK you know the one where you "drive" yourself, right next too tomorrow land) anyway can't remember the name but it is one of my happiest memories, as for my girl, actually it was taking a trip without her brother we were at playhouse disney and to see it through her eyes, and when Bear in the big blue house came out, the look of pure joy on her face, and yes I burst into tears.
