To be honest, for a first timer you've got it well covered with a great variety.Having a favourite restaurant is like asking someone Whats there favourite car to drive.Everyone has a different opinion.Personally I wouldn't change a thing,of the four on your wish list, the Yachtsman sticks out like sore finger.I would opt for that one.;)

I'm not going to comment on your choices. What I may not like, you may love and what I may love you may not like. I always say to each their own and if you want to book something, go for it.

With that being said, Disney should not allow first time visitors to get the DxDP. For a first (and maybe only) trip to WDW, you are spending A LOT of time eating or waiting to eat or traveling to go eat. You don't want to look back at your first trip to Disney and feel like you did nothing but eat. IMO, the DxDP is something you may want to reconsider.

Thanks for all the help from everybody! Will try to get an reservation for the yachtmans steakhouse if i can when i arrive! We might plan it on a 'free' day.

The reason that we took the Deluxe dining plan is simple. We got the normal dining plan for free and where able to upgrade it to the deluxe for a fair price. We pay about $25 a day for it per person so i wouldn't want to skip that for that price. Even if we don't use all the points it's still a good value. I guess if we took the normal dining plan i couldn't do this list since we almost do not have any QS restaurants. I do not think QS is bad but i prefer sit down meals way over it.

Besides that whe are real foodies and dining is a big thing at vacation for us. I would even go somewhere for just the food. WDW seems to be a dining playground for us!

We had no problem dining 2-3 times a day in a restaurant in Disneyland Paris in all the trips we have made but the restaurants are a bit more limited there.

And so we didn't book 14 full days to be in the parks only. Right?

All great choices!! As others have pointed out, it definitely is a lot of food. We got the regular dining plan in Sept and with the entree and dessert, that was perfect for us coupled with 2 QS meals each day. Dining is a huge thing for us to when vacationing at WDW and in May we had a few days where we had 2 table service meals in a day. It felt like we were doing a LOT of sitting and eating. And sitting and waiting to eat since ADR's are not set in stone guaranteed times. We cut back to 1 TS meal on our Sept trip and that was much better. But if you want to eat several TS meals a day, I say go for it. WDW has lots of good food! :) Enjoy!!

I see you have made some GREAT choices! I do have this one bit of advice to pass along, DON'T waste all your time in a restuarant. While Disney offers some of the most tasty food you can get anywhere. Plus the convienece of having it all one destination, makes it one of the greatest (if not the greatest) places to answer every craving imaginable. However, when my husband and I did the the Deluxe Dinning Plan, it would take at least 45mins to an 1 1/2 hours to eat and get out. If you multiply that times 3, you can spend up to 4 1/2 hours of your day in a restuarant. I personally like the plan that gives you 1 deluxe, 1 counter service, and 1 snack. We have used this plan several times and it works out great. Plus you aren't hustling to make a reservation every few hours. Just my opinion, but I saw where ou were going to eat at Le Cellier as your 3rd meal of the day on the 26th....TRUST ME when I say this: you want to hungary when you go there. It is the BEST restaurant on property!!! That's just my opinion, but I feel pretty strong about it.....its crazy good!
And if you feel like maybe you won't have options or sub-par food if you choose a counter service option, NEVER FEAR, they are great. It's not just burgers and chicken sandwiches. You can get a great and fairly large meal in Mexico, China, UK, every land in MK has different choices too, as does Disney Studios and Animal Kingdom. Everything from taco salads, chicken halves, great grilled sandwiches, clam chowder, pizza, hot dogs (even the ones from Casey's on Main Street..AWESOME!!), subs, veggies, fish and chips, ....the list goes on and on!
Not trying to dicourage you from your plan, everything you have on your itinerary looks GREAT!! Just thought you may like the opinion of someone who has done both and think the Counter Service plan is just a better deal not just money wise, but time wise as well. Of course you are going for like 2 weeks so thr time factor may be of no concern for you. Either way you decide I hope you have a wonderful trip filled with great memories to last a lifetime. And Welcome to the USA, I hope you leave with a good opinion of us.

Great selections. An FYI if you are doing a dining and a fantasmic package I was told I had to make an early reservation (latest 4:00. Anyone else encounter this). I also heard reports of restaurants closing early on MNSSHP and to make sure you book as soon as possible because they do fill up. Have a wonderful vacation!

My two cents: The thing that stuck out to me with these few days was how close together breakfast and lunch are. Having breakfast at Boma at 10 is great but I wouldn't want to schedule another meal so closely behind it, especially adding in travel time. Was it by choice that your breakfast plans are so late?

My idea was to not book breakfast so early every morning because it will break us up after a while. We are not the type of people that wants to be first in the parks so no 8 hour breakfast. We might want to put it at 9 tho. I think you are right. 3 hours isn't much.

I agree with some of the others. You don't leave much time between some of your breakfasts and lunches, and I would do some additional signature dining. Citrico's, Artist's Point, CG are just three that come to mind as missing. Also, if I may ask, why the interest in eating at Olivia's Cafe or Tony's Town Square? I could see replacing both of those.

Given your thinking about the Deluxe DDP you can always cancel if you don't want to make a reservation. So you probably should just stick with your plan. It will be fun to hear how it goes! If you decide to cancel any reservations, just call and let them know you are not coming so they can give that table to someone else. That's what we do.
