I am ex Betty Windsor's Flying Circus, served Her Maj for 23 years in the Photographic Engineering Branch, so my lot would constitute a military family having been born on the hoof so to speak. Now we have armed forces that have fewer members than fans that support Rangers. Gotta love professional politicians.

I had to Google that. Awesome.

Our family has tradition going back to the US War Between the States. We had soldiers on both sides. Really appreciate Disney's heavily discounted military tickets the last few years. Grandfather in WWII, Dad and Uncle in Vietnam, Dad did two tours. Brother-in-law flew A-10's then F-15E's, including a tour in Iraq and Afghanistan. Middle nephew deploys to Afghanistan in February with the Army and youngest nephew is joining the USAF. I ended my career supporting the E-8 JointSTARS program at Robins AFB. Lived in Germany and Panama and got to see a lot of Europe and central America.
