Hi all! In my family's 21 years of DVC membership not once have we used the Dining Plan... I'm only going to be at the resort for 2 days pre-cruise for my next trip, I was wondering if the Dining Plan is available for only 2 days, and if it's worth it? Wanted to hear some recommendations from people who have given it a shot! :)

Yes it is! but where are you eating and what would you order? Only you can do the math!

This is the thing... I have no idea how it works! The only meal we've planned is a dinner at Be Our Guest the second day... Do we have to plan ALL of our dining in advance?
2 nights 2 ts credits so if your not doing 2 skip the plan. No you don't have to book ahead but where you want to eat may not be taking walk ups. Hope this helps!

I suggest looking over the details here -> http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/planning-guides/in-depth-advice/disney-dining-plan/ But as Yoda implied, you get a set number of meal/snack entitlements per person per hotel night. The type of plan you get determines if you get TS or CS entitlements, and how many of each. The pages I linked to go into depth about what is included, but basically a TS or CS meal includes an entree, dessert, and beverage. However, you would either need to book a second TS meal, or plan on using the CS meals for all your other meals and then paying for the BoG TS meal out of pocket. Either way, your savings (if any) would most likely be fairly minimal.
