Your Secret Disney Tipple.

Last night I made myself a cocktail.( 2 parts vodka,1 part tequila,lime juice,and a few drops of yellow habanero sauce ) and it hit all the right spots.Anyway this got me thinking,do you have a secret tipple that you enjoy at Disney? Something that you wouldn't have at home.

I love to order a BBC on vacation and would never consider ordering one at home. It has Bailey's Irish Cream, dark rum, Pina Colada mix, banana and banana liqueur (my favorite recipe but there are several.) As soon as I step on a cruise ship or hit a WDW bar, it's the first thing I go for.

Something I wouldn't have at home? Not really. I've recreated many of my favorite Disney World libations in my kitchen. I guess the exception would be things I can't get at home. For instance, I really like the Jardin chardonnay on the wine list at Sanaa, but it's not available for purchase anywhere in my area.

First, I had to give myself 30 seconds to stop laughing when I saw the word tipple... I like that!!! Im a big fan of the lapu lapu... and never would consider even trying to make it at home (what happens at Disney, stays at Disney!!) I am also a big fan of the orange dream!!!

I read it as "nipple" and that is why I had to read this thread! I quickly caught on though! I have yet to have a libation of any sort in WDW, but hope that I may get to do so this next trip. And what is an orange dream?

Grey Goose slushie a few at EPCOT is one thing a few to many at home and I'd need to go to the 12 pots of coffee as some say!

Its basically a creamsickle Hatter.. vodka, peach schnapps, and cream w/ice... a smoothie pretty much its delicious!!

Nah! Sounds a girlie drink I need a Macho Macho Man kinda drink.Something that thunders when you drink it and fire comes out of your ears,then there's a loud explosion.( that's when you change yer pants )

My DH loves the rum runners... frozen or on the rocks... however, they tend to make him forget how to spell him name!!! LOL

For heavens sake..Please don't go down that road..Ive been shot down by snipers in the past here who don't know when am joking.Anyway,to explain.A "Tipple" is a Scottish term for a wee dram of your favourite drink.

MOONSHINE are you man enough?

Och that's just for bairns! Ive been down that copperhead road. Undistilled Scottish whisky ( pure clear ) at 140% will have you flying higher than Peter Pan.

FIrst off...tipple is going to be my word of the week! Love it!

Second...I don't have a favorite tipple; however, when it comes to drinks...I'll try and make anything at home. What's funny...my favorite thing takes two totally separate Disney things and blends them together. Think Dole Whip mixed with a pineapple margarita from LaCava. If I'm feeling lazy...I just blend pineapple sherbet and tequila (prefer something like Patron Anejo or Reposado)...if I'm feeling more creative- I'll make it in my icecream maker...and if I've had enough time to plan this out---I'll buy the Dole Whip mix, go the extra mile and soak pineapple in tequila, etc.
