If animals are not food, why are they made out of meat?
The only animals that are food are the delicious ones.

Which ones aren't delicious...? o_O ;)

Dog? Cat? Horse? Depending your part of the world, all those are delcious, and cow is considered sacred not to be touched. Safest best, just don't eat any of it....... If you aren't willing to catch, cook, and clean it, then you probably don't want to know what you are eating or where it came from. There are a few exceptions, especially if you know your butcher and visit his herds, but how often can we all do that? I've made peace with my DW eating animals as she often knows where they came from and has seen their living conditions.

End of thread drift, I'd hate to say it, but I can't see it doing that well. As much as I'd love to have it there, I don't think it would fly. The margins on veggie dishes just aren't the same as those on meat dishes. And I can't see that many people traveling to a resort for veggie dishes, and I highly doubt they would sacrifice any in park space. Heck, the vegan booth at last years F&W was nice to see, but it was all fake meat (was it sponsored by that company)? And not anything really creative. They seem to bend over backwards for people with food allergies in terms of ensuring they have balanced meal choices, but vegetarians get stuck with salads and grilled veggies? Eh.

Yeah, the Terra booth was sponsored by that fake meat company. (I didn't bother to learn the company's name because those meat and dairy substitute products are completely irrelevant to me as an omnivore.) I thought the Terra booth really missed the mark. So many wonderful foods are naturally vegan. Why not feature them instead of fake chicken, fake cheese and fake beef? It was pretty lame.
