Disney WiFi and iPhones -- Blocked?

I wasn't sure where to post this or not, but whenever I am at the parks and I try to connect to the Disney WiFi, it keeps saying "Too many hotspot redirects" and will not connect. Is Disney blocking iPhones from accessing their WiFi?

I'm at DHS right now, waiting for my family to get out of ToT. No problems connecting here today....

I use the WiFi in the parks with my iPhone 5 all the time without any such issues. The only issue I see is slow performance but since most people are moving over to the WiFi now the LTE network performance is much better than it used to be so I just switch back to that.

I used an iPod touch 5 the other day with no issue. However, You do need to make sure you accept the TOS on first use in each park when you enter. I used it in Epcot and then still had to accept the TOS at MK a few hours later.

What site are you trying to connect to? This is caused by an error in the coding for the site that creates an infinite loop. Often the site is trying to set itself up for the browser type or device. However, an error creates an infinite loop. Browsers handle this by timing out after a set number of redirects.

I've noticed the same thing. Ever since WiFi first went online in the Magic Kingdom, I've found LTE to be faster and more stable than the WiFi. I just keep the WiFi disabled on my phone.

Wifi is very important for those of us non-Americans. Roaming costs would be prohibitive on cellular. But I can seem LTE being a reasonable option or Americans.

Wish the resort and the parks was 3G or 4G instead instead of Wifi or LTE. I found that the parks was faster than the resort during the days and the resort faster during night time hours.

I have an iPhone 5. I connect and it just doesn't load the TOS
Not at Disney but where I work, I do sometimes have to toggle wireless off and back on to get the proper sign-in screen. I think there is a slight glitch in the way IOS 6 handles these. I almost always have to do it from the setup screen screen to get it to work and not by cycling power.

Speaking of iPhones... I have a iPhone 4 ... And my battery seems to drain twice as fast as it usually does when I'm in Disney. No, I don't use it for pics. Yes it's a older phone now but I've downloaded all the updates etc. It doesn't say it's roaming... Acting perfectly fine per usual except the battery life is worse for some reason...I was at 87% by 9AM one morning and I hadn't touched the phone. I'm sure it's got to be searching for something because it doesn't drain like that when I'm in VA. I have the whole nation wide, unlimited plan so I don't get it.

We were there Dec. 13-20 and had horrible Wi-Fi issues at Jambo House. We were good the night we checked in but it was all down hill from there. My son didn't seem to have any problems with his iPhone 4s it was just trying to connect with our laptops where we had issues. I was really OK with it not working but my plugged in son wasn't amused ;)

No, the system is overloaded. I have used an iPhone countless times.... and bitched every time the wifi dropped.

Look at it this way: You and 47 thousand other people* (daily park attendance average per TEA estimates) are likely trying to use it at the same time. You're gonna have some issues.
