Define what you mean by "Adult"... that could mean a lot of things... What does an adult party include in your mind? Princesses wearing little to no clothing as is so fashionable these days when it comes to women's costumes? ;) Sorry, teasing. But adult can mean a lot of things. I am assuming you mean inclusion of alcohol, which I am fine with, but even then... you can buy adult beverages at most restaurants there without a party.

When it comes to "Adult", I'm thinking he means Scary, not necessarily "drunken" or "stripper". :)

I'm not a fan of Scary stuff myself, but I do think that having an adult "scary" halloween event at DHS to offset the "not-so-scary" event at MK would be a good idea for WDW.

Oh I know. I was just teasin'. And honestly (unfortunately?), the "drunken stripper" scenario is not too far off from many a Halloween party, particularly in my age group

I'd be all for a bit of scare. Universal's HHN is really good though I recognize it's not everyone's cup of tea. I think somewhere in between HHN and the MNSSHP would be a great idea for someone looking for something with a bit more pep but not super frightening.

I agree. I don't think WDW is the place for horror houses or zombies walking down the street but maybe something a little more 'scary' than a parade with Mickey Mouse. The only bad thing with that is that I doubt Disney would ever put an age requirement on it, which means stupid parents would bring their 4 year olds, who would be terrified, then complain because it was too scary for their kids.

I'm all for not having more hard-ticketed events, especially since the two MK ones take up so many dates already. I'd hate to see another park closed down a bunch during September - October as well.

Damn it.Here's me picturing Alice in a naughty outfit.
You mean the 12-yr-old Alice from the Disney animated classic?
Chris Hansen would like a word.

I wish they did more with the Headless Horseman hayride they had at Fort Wilderness.

I don't see Disney being able to pull off a HHN, but maybe a Disney villain take over could work for Halloween.

That's a great idea! Villian party at DHS. :)

What's the point? What they'd end up doing would be a cheapo cheesy wannabe version of HHN.

I just don't see Disney taking the initiative to do it right, nor spend the big bucks for it. Heck, look at just how cheap the MNSSHP is...nowhere near the detail or money Universal or other parks spend on events.

They already do this at Disneyland Paris's Walt Disney Studios Park.

It's called Disney's TERRORific Night. Very similar to Universal's HHNs and happens every year while MNSSHP goes on next dooor at Disneyland. Age limit is 12+ Only. It includes zombies running around, red and green dark streetlights and ground mist for an eerie ambience, scary soundtrack, horror houses, headless horseman appearances, exclusive shows and ride makeovers, only characters there are villains. It's awesome and works very well.
