If you could choose only one restaurant to visit while at WDW, what would it be and why?

Planning our third trip to WDW for Fall 2013 and this time we will have newbies with us. If you could only choose one restaurant to visit while at WDW what would it be and why?

Does Aloha Isle count? :) In all seriousness I think I would say Boma, it's honestly one of (if not THE) best breakfast I've ever had in my life. Haven't had dinner there yet but I've heard equally good things.

Cape May Cafe without a doubt! Each December, my whole family goes to WDW, and I do mean my whole family haha. We've had up to 25 people there. And we all have one big dinner together and we all vote, well every year, we all vote for Cape May. My family is huge seafood eaters, and you easily eat more seafood than what you paid for there! They have crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, etc. They also have the hot buffet side, and great desserts. It is just a great restaurant. And it;s walking distance from Epcot, and a short boat ride from HS. It's a great dinner and just a stone's throw away from a great firework show to end your day

You know that's a tough question! Hmmmmm well if we are talking quality, I also have to go with Boma buttttt if we are having fun 50's PTC it really is a family favorite.

For food alone Shula's as they have the best steaks on property. For the entire Disney experience I would go with a character buffet.

I would agree....for a newbie you have to do a character meal of some sort. :)

Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort. It is a MUST for us on our first night there. The food is good, the characters are fun and the atmosphere is also enjoyable. It's a nice relaxing meal after a log day at the MK (and a cool monorail ride away or a short walk). The you can get energized and go right back to the MK for more rides, parades and fireworks!!

Good luck with your decision!!:D

Thanks guys. The only one we have tried is Cinderella's Royal Table and it is one of my faves as it is my 4 year old daughter's. My husband wants to try some new. We always eat at Biergarten for his pick though and I love the atmosphere, but not the food.

Crystal Palace. Our first family trip started wtih a walk down Main St. USA and a meal at CP. Kids eyes were like saucers taking it all in and watching the characters come up. Great memories....

The only place I visit on every trip is Kouzzina for breakfast. It is walking distance from my resort and the food is incredible.

If we're talking only one meal, my choice would be either Jiko or Flying Fish. The food is the most important thing to me, and these two restaurants do it better than anywhere else on property, outside of Victoria & Albert's.

That being said, it's just two of us, and we're both adults. I'd only take our advice if you're planning on putting the little one in a daycare and having some alone time.
