BoG reservations not showing up

I was up with the rest of you on Monday making reservations for BoG. I have a confirmation number, but it's not showing up online in the reservation system. My fiance called back Monday evening to make sure that our reservations were still there. They were, but he said because of the system overload it would take a few days, but as of this morning it's still not showing up, even when I try to retrieve it. Anyone else having this problem?

I just looked in the system and they have reservations available later on the night I have a reservation for. I'm tempted to make another one just to be sure...

I can honestly say that I am not surprised. The online system is buggy on the best of days. Considering all of the turmoil that went on Monday I am surprised that anyone's ADR shows online. If they say they have it over the phone I would not worry much.

I actually think that is a great idea! It sounded like such chaos that day that at least you will be sure to have one. You can always cancel it!

Please don't, there are a lot of people who don't have a reservation yet and are still looking. You should be glad that you got one.

Although I very much understand this, as I would not typically do this in a normal circumstance, it doesn't sound like she has one either. If she is sure she has one than she wouldn't make a duplicate but since she can't find it I feel that it would be ok in this circumstance to obtain a second one until she can confirm the first. These open reservations are open to everyone to make if they desire the same day she is looking for. JMHO

after making our ADRs on monday for BOG in Nov and Dec, i paniced when i heard no CC, NO ressie. I tried to call back and finally had it added. In the meantime, i did email disney. they emailed back yesterday and said they were sorry for the problems, and not to worry. they were aware of the issue and as long as i had the Conf. number, the ADR was fine. So if you have the number you are good. If i knew how to post the email onto this site, i would. not really a tech expert. im sure you are ok. have fun and enjoy your new dining experience!

It was confirmed over the phone...sounds like she has one to me.

OP, if you show up with confirmation number in hand (which people should do anyway, just to be safe) you should be all set.

Agreed about the online system being buggy. I've heard that the ones booked through the automated system were online right away, but that many of the ones booked by a person aren't pulling up online. Still, if you call- and the reservationists can see them in the system...you're fine.

While I didn't have this issue with BoG, I had a similar issue with Crystal Palace a few weeks ago. Every time I went to our online reservations and tried to retrieve it- the system couldn't find it and gave me an error msg. I called and they still showed it as a valid ADR in the systems- just had no clue why it wouldn't show online. It took nearly 2 weeks for it to come up online.

My guess would be it will show eventually....not uncommon for that to happen. I was lucky enough to get one Monday and it does show online (I just checked). Looks like my entire week is booked now.
