Cupcake Challenge.2012.

You know,when I saw the pictures of the various cupcakes on offer,I thought to myself,no problem.But when I ate my first one Starring Rolls,I didn't realise how big these babies are.It got to a point during my 14 day cupcake challenge that I threw in the White flag on the 10th day.Having one at lunch time,then another at dinner time I just couldn't keep up with the yumminess of these creations.So Iam curious to find out how many of you out there could eat your way thro the tunnel of cupcakes.I reckon I managed about 18 or 19 before giving up.

I might do one a day...if I forgo all other sweets...but then again with the revelation (thanks again Sue) that Whoopie pies are cohabitating with cupcakes.....Id probaly end up eating those

WIth all the cupcake talk around here lately I was planning on going through a bit of a cupcake tear. Not necessarily a tour, but a tear.....
My plan was to overcome my food agression issues and sh..sh..sha....share my cupcake.
As you said they're big enough to allow even a glutton like me to split one!

That's my current plan of approach.

DH and I were actually discussing this just last night. We too are planning a "Cupcakes Around the World" tour as you know but we decided last night the best way to do it will be to get one of each and share it between the 3 of us (because of how massive they are or can feel once inside your stomach). That way too we have even more snack credits for things like the dang whoopie pies that I now also want to try. LOL!

I cheat, Hatter, I get DH and DS to get cupcakes, and I sample them LOL. Im not much of a cake eater, normally, but I sure am at Disney. I could do maybe one a day, and get the boys to finish it LOL. (I know, I'm a lightweight!!) Did you have any fav cupcake? I love red velvet cake, so of course, the red velvet cupcake is at the top of my list!

I'll be doing the cupcake tour in 23 days!!!! I get the feeling I will struggle to complete it too! BUT I'm going to give it a bloody good go!!!! :wink:

With so many different sweets to try like the whoopie pies, I dont think I will be able to try all the cupcakes. I will probably pick a couple of the ones that I really like. I know one thing for sure the butterfinger and red velvet cupcake are a must do!

Shookie, I have to agree with you on this one. Sharing would not normally be a word I would recognize when it comes to cupcakes or goodies in general but those lil' darlins from Starring Rolls are HUGE and definitely shareable. My advice is to get about 3 and share them between the family so you get to try a little of every one. We got 2 between 3 of us and couldn't finish them (and, believe me, I'm no quitter.) Between the heat of WDW and the unbelievable amount of food on the dining plan, getting in all the snacks I have on my list may call for a little sharin'.
