Good Morning,For all those doing the QS dining plan for the first time.May the food of gods be with you.We had 14 days of this challenge and failed with 7 dining credits still left on our KTWC. We did manage to use up our snack credits and take home bags of stuff.Anyway to our favourite QS meals..At PORS the create your own pasta and salad dishes are awesome,as the carving station with a choice of either turkey or beef.At MK our favourite was CHH with fried shrimp basket & fries, the salmon with broccoli & couscous and lobster roll, and anchors aweigh sandwich.Sadly HS & AK do not have any QS that I would rave about,Backlot express & Flame Tree just making it into the ok chart.Epcot is Sunshine Seasons, the choice is very good as is the quality, the Mongolian Beef and slow roasted pork were awesome. We tried TC at Morocco but we were not that impressed.DD has WPE & EOS both great spots for lunch or dinner. The meatloaf & bacon at Wolfies was very good. Now I did try maybe five or six cupcakes and the one that I gave top spot to was red velvet, tho to be honest, there wasn't a bad one.To sum it all up,the amount of food that you get was more than enough for the three of us,including those two snacks per day, example,a Giant slice of cinnamon roll at Main St Bakery is one snack and could easily feed 2 people. As for ice creams, the dole whip & pineapple floats take a bit of beaten. So would I do it all again? You bet I would.:)

I love the make your own pasta at Riverside, we usually walk over from French Quarter and look around Riverside and have dinner there. We also end up bringing bags of food home as we never manage to use all our snack credits so we have plenty of Disney goodies to last us through the winter months back in the UK. Sunshine seasons is a firm favourite with my family and normally the restuarant of choice for us at Epcot. Can't wait to eat there again in 10 days time!!!!!!!

I agree that Sunshine Seasons is great in Epcot. I also do like Pizza Planet in Hollywood Studios!

I have never tried CHH and it is the quick service meal I am most looking forward to. Lately, we always stay at POFQ and I have never been to Riverside for QS. I am going to have to add it to my list!! My DS is going to do the pirate adventure so maybe we will have lunch then! Thanks for the insight!!

20 days to go!!

Hatter did you like doing the QS plan verses the regular dining plan?

We haven't done just the quick serve and I am curious if it is worth it to always upgrade to the reg one. I love the thought of not being restricted because of reservation times in the park but the QS we have had has been pretty awful. We are trying some better QS places this time around to see if it helps. We did upgrade this trip but if it remains the same for free dining next trip and we just get the QS then I don't think I am going to do the upgrade.

We have never done any DDP until this year.Altho we had free DDP this year on our package we done 3 ADRS.What would put me off the reg dining plan is having ADRS all over the world and you would have to be at that place at that time tho we are planning our 2014 trip and considering a deluxe resort so we will see if free dining is still available.
