where does Tinker Bell go?

WHAT?! Aww man, that just crushed me! Why can't she come out a second time? I'm not assuming you know the answer to that question but I'll ask anyway.

It's not written into the story of Wishes to start.. Tinkerbell's roll in the show is basically as she was in the early TV program.. to open the show with her pixie dust.

And it would seem kind of odd to repeat the same exact stunt in the show... when you just saw tinkerbell go to the right.. why would she all of a sudden show up from the left again?

WOW! I had NO idea the flight Tink makes at DL was so drastically different. That was absolutely incredible!

You should watch the Dumbo flight...

Yup, that's right... DL has gotten 3 new fireworks shows in the same time period MK has been showing the same Wishes for almost a decade, an even older Fantasy in the Sky, and only changed holloween.. and DL's new holloween fireworks are still better.

MK wins for the big booms, high altitude, and impressive size.. but DL fireworks incorporate far more non-pyro show elements.. and have been refreshed in the last decade :/

Because it's awesome. I don't find that weird at all, she comes out for the beginning and once again at the end. How is that odd?

Because you saw her go to TL.. and don't see her leave TL.. and somehow she shows back up in the castle.. and flies right back to TL.

It's too dimensional and disconnected. DL's is different because TL doesn't just go straight down a zipline from A to B.. the varied movement gives a far more open sense of where she is and where she's going. she is flying all around..

To repeat her flight in Wishes would be like watching Groundhog day

I guess.

Think about it.. at DL they don't magically appear from the matterhorn again.. they relaunch from where they last left the show.

I know. It's just hard for me to really understand because I've never been to the MK, so I'm basing my judgements off pictures. Clearly, seeing pictures and videos vs the real thing isn't helping me.

Has MK ever had any other characters flying besides Tinkerbell?

Oh man that's the first time I've ever seen this. That's awesome.

No - only tinkerbell. And to my knowledge, Magical! was the first show to use any flying character besides tink. The Dumbo character is quite a technical marvel if you haven't read about it.. and quite HUGE.

Oh wow. Yes, I believe you're correct, Magical was the first show to present another character. Then came Zero for the Halloween fireworks. Do you think TDO will ever consider adding another character? Yes, I used to work in Fantasyland at Disneyland and as I was walking to my post one night I spotted the extra large Dumbo in the corner, in the darkness waiting to go out. I almost screamed, one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.

Take a look at this video. ;) The pictures you reference above don't bother me (and I'm fairly scared of heights), but this video makes my palms sweat...

OHHHH my gosh! My hands started sweating and I just wanted to grab him and get him back up there. Hoooooly crap!

Actually, that's not correct.

The holiday version of old Fantasy in the Sky had a flying Rudolph, complete with glowing nose, that flew during the finale, instead of Tink at the start.
And I believe a witch and/or ghost has flown as part of the Halloween shows before.
