So the EMH that started June 18th was for certain days at each park but it appears by the DL calendar that it is now everyday for each park. Is this correct?

Looks like it's true for hotel guests, they can choose which of the parks they want to visit for early entry. I think the MM for guests with 3 or more day park hoppers is still limited to DL on certain days.

That was a little puzzling to me...EMH (any park early entry, any day) is for resort hotel guests but the MM is for folks that bought 3+ park hopper tickets but are staying off-site. Have they not done a EMH for resort guests in the past? We will only be there for 3 days next summer and were planning to stay on-site. As long as they don't remove the EMH, this will be a nice perk for us with the limited amount of time we are visiting!

I'm not sure if they've done the EMH for resort guests. I know the EMH is scheduled to end on September 29 though. No idea if it'll be around next summer.

Oh, I did not see it was ending. As a matter of fact the "Disney Parks Blog" that announed the EMH (back on May 25th) even made a point to say "This will be an ongoing offering, with no end date planned at this time." I guess they planned an end date...that stinks.

They have 3 different early morning entrance programs right now.
1) AP holders can register to get early entrance certain days
2) DLR hotel guests can get early entrance each days
3) 3 day+ park hoppers can get early entrance certain days

You can see details here -> http://disneyland.disney.go.com/calendar/early-admission/ But some of those dates seem to be in place only for the extra crowds due to Carsland, so will most likely change prior to next year.

I think its the dailiness of it. It had been just certain mornings, but a few weeks back they changed it to each morning.

So they had done EMH (differnt than MM) on select mornings prior to June 18th. But most likely the change to everyday EMH was implemented due to Carsland? Man I hope it doesn't end, I would like to think they will leave some sort of early entry perk for resort guests.

It still is a perk for resort guests. Not everyone can access every morning. The MM still has just certain mornings, 3 day+ parkhoppers have certain mornings, and AP's also have certain days they need to register for. Some of those will overlap with the resort guest early entry since that is the only one that is each day.

Read the post below - it answers all you need. There is no 'EMH' at DLR as it is known by WDW people. It has specific early admission programs for specific criteria.

I believe the posting is in reference to each park being open each day an hour early for resort guests. Normal practice is only certain parks on certain days for resort guests. So as of now, they would seem to be planning to switch back to just certain parks on certain days after the summer rush is over.

I'm completely confused, no EMH?
http://disneyland.disney.go.com/calendar/early-admission/

I thought the three programs listed by dreamfinder were: AP, EMH (DLR hotel guests) and MM (3+ park hopper). EMH sounds like it will be reduced to certain days after Sept 30th.

As I said 'There is no 'EMH' at DLR as it is known by WDW people'

In fact, I don't recall DL using the EMH terminology in the past - they might have changed this year when they expanded the programs around the new DCA opening. They always referred to it as 'Magic Mornings' or 'Early Entry'. Adding to the confusion, Grand Californian guests had special access to DCA too.

If you ignore the terminology and just look at what matters.. you'll find the quoted post by dreamfinder lists all the current offerings.

I'm with ya' now, it was a little confusing with all the terminology, who's eligible, as well as the summer changes. Just trying to get familiar with all things DL before next year's trip. Thanks for the help.

Don't stress yourself out with Disneyland. There's really no need to, just enjoy the parks and your time.
