So my neighbor just came back from Disney today and brought me back a cupcake since she knows I am ding a cupcake crawl!!!!

It was the Carmel topped vanilla one from Germany in Epcot!!! I am counting it so I can hit up another one! To be honest it was ok. Just a basic vanilla with a little Carmel on top.

I will say that she also brought me back a salted Carmel from there and it was to die for!!!!! So good!!

Can't wait for Novemeber! Already printed out my checklist!

Also was not a fan of the vanilla cupcake with caramel. The caramel kind of stuck together and came off altogether from the icing. It needed to be softer.

Hmmm, good to know, I will probably save this one for another trip unless I run out of cupcake options in Epcot :)

I just got so excited when I saw my name and the word "cupcakes" as a thread title! :p

I really need a neighbor like that! I can't wait to try the caramel corn cupcake! I'm sorry your vanilla and caramel wasn't spectacular. :( I'm so glad that everyone is getting so into this! :D

:). I can't wait to try a ton of them! She even brought me Carmel corn w/ chocolate and reisens candies from there! She does rock! My most anticipated cupcake is the red velvet and the butterfinger! So excited!
Wow, where can I get a neighbor like that? ;)

Sorry you didn't enjoy your first WDW cupcake, maybe it will be better in WDW.

That salted caramel has been on my list since I heard about it, cant wait.

Honestly the salted Carmel is to die for!!!!

I agree.... It really was just a vanilla cupcake. I am also looking forward to the macaroon cupcake at AoA! Can't wait to give a full report :)

Ooh the butterfinger! Yes, that is what I am looking forward to! Hmm... Is it bad that I'm travelling to WDW with my kids for the first time and this is what I'm on here talking about. Lol. Feel like I should say can't wait to take them on Dumbo! :)

I hear you Liz! If my family knew what my agendas entail I am not sure they would go for it but since no one else wants to plan our vacation we will be strolling my some cupcake places right around snack time and happen to just pop in them ;)

Now...how can I hide my list.... Hmmmmmm

The red velvet and Butterfinger are the best ones I've had...but I may change my mind after doing the Cupcake Crawl and trying lots more!!

Someone at work brought in homemade strawberry daquiri and pina colada cupcakes last week...they were delish! The pina colada had chunks of pineapple in it, it would have been perfect to have along with a Dole Whip! :)

My soon to be sister in law had that same cupcake in Germany last year - she said that the cake was a bit dry and the icing was grainy. Like straight granulated sugar. Definitely not like the ones you find at Starring Rolls.

Although the cake was ok she was right the icing was grainy! That is a perfect word for it!

I see they have a coconut and pineapple one at seasons in Epcot! I love coconut! Too bad it isn't by the dole whip stand! You are right that would be a great combo!

Don't worry - you won't be disappointed in these ones (in my experience anyway) - they are top notch! I've heard the earlier you get them - the better. Sometimes the ones served right around 4 (when Starring Rolls closes)have been known to have a drier cake because perhaps they've been sitting there longer. But again - it doesn't mean that happens all the time!
