While I doubt a store refurb would necessitate this, I hope they're adding more content to the Art of Disney on Demand.

I wanted postcard sized versions of the classic attraction posters when I went last year - looked around the various postcard stands, and looked on the On Demand at Art of Disney, and I think the smallest you could get was A4 - they lost out on a sale because I didn't want posters that large, I wanted ones small enough to be able to put in a scrapbook/photo album with pictures of the actual attractions, or multiple posters to a frame - smaller ones would also have been cheaper so I would have been able to get a variety/complete set, instead of just one or two!

Wasn't there a book that came out recently that had all of the poster art in it?

Possibly, it's not something I've really looked in to since I left WDW, but it's just something that I thought that they would have, at least in the On Demand section - they sell attraction posters, they sell postcards, common sense to me would be to sell the attraction posters in postcard size, at least On Demand!

You know, the one thing I really miss from WDW is the art-y side. When I first went there, they had REAL animators at the Art of Animation. They should bring them back... even if it would only be to make animated shorts or a tv series, it would make that such a better experience.

I remeber seeing artists all over the resort working on paintings or drawings... I recall someone making little things out of glass or crystal? Not sure, but that was one aspect of the World I really enjoyed and I didn't see quite so much of it last time.

Sorry for the random thoughts!

Arribas Bros on Main Street in Magic Kingdom, and in their shop beside World of Disney (and Basin?) in Downtown Disney still do this - you can also buy their crystal in the Mexico Pavilion, but I can't remember if you can see them make it there, or not).

Ah okay, that must be it! I love that stuff, I have to make it a point to stop in again on my next trip, if I get a next trip.
