Illuminations went thru a pop phase?

This is the wackiest show I have ever seen play in the World Showcase Lagoon but for some reason I really like it LOL. I was really thrown off by the finalie. Anyone have any love for this short lived show.

A rare one indeed. I actually liked IllumiNations 25a, except from the finale version of Circle of Life. It caused riots at guest relations, so ended up being reverted to the much more sedate IllumiNations 25b after a few months.

@wdwmagic, How long did 25a actually run? 2004 was the only year in the oughts that I did not get to WDW, so I completely missed this version. I think its kind of a cool show.

It was only for months, I believe somewhere between 3 and 6. Guest reaction was so severe it promoted a complete rework.

I:25a is the only other version of the show that is watchable for me. Of course I didn't like all of the crackle shells and mines that it used but pretty much every fireworks show across the world in the 1990s used an abundance of crackle effects.

Lots of very angry guests who were horrified at the removal of their classical IllumiNations. It was bad enough to begin an immediate rewrite of the show within days of it starting.

Now im mad and motivated. They Don't fix Imagination, Horizons is still gone, Spaceship Earth has no ending, Main Street Electrical Parade is still annoying the guests, the yeti is still not working but they totally transform Illuminations after its first 4 months when it really only needed a new finally. This makes me mad people... what happened to us, we need to fight hard for what we want, Its time to grab the torches and pitchforks and riot guest relations, and as a puishment to Disney World we will make them run Illumunations 25A for a whole 10 years and lock them in a room with Baroque Hoedown playing really loud for 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!
