Looks like the dollar is going down quicker than a Las Vegas !!!! Anyway for all you UK and Ireland travellers,how do you take your money to spend? Dollars from here,visa card, or just use your KTTW card and pile it on and square up at the end of your vacation.We put about $1400 on our KTTW card last visit and paid it via our MasterCard and got a great rate of exchange,one wonders what others do?:wave:

the dollars dropping? I was planning on waiting till it got to 1.60 !! Going in Sept, don't want much lower really! we normally take some dollars and then mostly American Express travellers cheques.

This time my OH is thinking about getting a certain bank card, I can't remember what it's called! Aparently when you buy it, you get the rate it was at the time, so if you got it today at 1.56, if you use it on your July hols and the rate had dropped to 1.54, you would still the higher rate. I think I've understood it right!!!

Well today saturday it's $1.53 and that's a drop of 6 cents in two weeks,don't know if it's got anything to do with the euro problem in Greece?:shrug:But DW sister always phones us on a Saturday night so will ask her what the rate is in California.where she lives.:wave:

Oh no, that's not good. My OH predicted the Greece euro thing may interfere with the dollar. I'm still going to hold back I think. I will be satisfied with 1.57 !!! Am I delusional! I think I'm stuck in 2008 when we got 2.00 !!!
