We arrived here at Disneyworld a couple days ago and so far are having an amazing time. I'll be going to typhoon lagoon today and then epcot tonight. Is there anything anyone would want me to check out for them?

Fresh,

I have noticed several people using these passes. They look normal except have a big bar code taking up most of one side. They seemed to e running somewhat smoothly with the exception of last night. The extra magic hours at magic kingdom were causing lots of confusion. (even with cast members) I can imagine what was happening is that somehow people who were using the next gen system had fast pass times scheduled for after regular hours and into extra magic hours and they weren't staying on property, makin them not eligible for the extra hours. So cast members were confused whether to still let them use it or turn them around. It was a mess at space mountain around 11:30 last night because of this

Hi. We will be down in a couple of weeks. My DD has gotten a new android phone, which meant we had to change carriers. She had to go with Sprint.
I've been hearing horror stories about no service for Sprint in and around the parks. Do you happen to know if this is so? Will her Lines app work?
I'm new, so I don't know where to put this question.
Thanks for any help.

Are you staying on property? If so, they now have free wifi that you can connect your android to! Although, the wifi they provide is far from good (more on that in a bit)

I can personally tell you that Verizon is excellent- nearly full bars everywhere on property. And AT&T is good too. I'm using it on my ipad in our Pop Century room right now. As far as Sprint, I can't imagine it being all that bad. This is a pretty heavily trafficed area as far as internet and phone usage goes. I'm sure you should be alright.

About this wifi, though. I'm glad that the resorts added free wifi. I really am! But the speeds are horrid. After trying to load several pages for several minutes (I had excellent reception with the router) I couldn't get anywhere with it. Eventually I gave up and switched over to 3g which is worlds better. They should really work on improving badwidth.

Thanks so much. This trip is just for Star Wars Opening Weekend, so we are staying at the Doubletree, but in June we will be at PORS for a long visit.
She also has a Dell Streak Tablet that is 3g/4g through T-Mobile. She has the apps on there also. I think we'll bring both just in case.
I hope you're having a great time.

Hope your having a great time, it's kind of you to ask others if you can check out anything for them. Can you just leave it all in one piece for my arrival in Sept!!!!

Enjoy!
