Splitting Expenses to multiple credit cards

Ok, pretty sure they should be able to do this, but just wanted to verify.

I'm going next week for work with my family. My hotel room is being paid by my office so I need to have the hotel and incidentals charged to one credit card. But then I want out in-park expenses on our KTTW card charged to my personal debit card. Can they do that have one card tied to your kTTW and another card tied to your room?

I presume you have a Room Only reservation, as a Package reservation has to be paid before you arrive. When you check in, you can pay the balance of your hotel reservation with a card, and then set up your room charge on a different card. Just make sure to let the CM at check-in know that's what you want to do when you start.

You can also go online or call right now to pay off the balance of your reservation before you arrive so that it avoids any confusion at check-in.

Yeah it's a room only, thanks for the info. I will actually only be charging 4 nights of our hotel to my office card, and the rest on my debit card. So that complicates it a little bit too. Oh well, I'm sure they can handle it.

They can handle it. Just make sure to know how much each charge should beforehand. That way if they hand you a total for the company card, and it looks off, you can correct it at that point instead of having to figure it out long distance over the phone.

I would suggest settling up the KTTW the night before you leave with whatever payment method you request. That will ensure it gets paid the way you want it to. There is always a chance that even if you request it be paid with one card, they run it against the other.

Disney doesn't require you to keep a credit card on file "for incidentals" or for any other reason.

When you book a package, you pay in full 45 days in advance or earlier. When you use a room-only reservation, you pay in full at the moment of check-in.

Either way, there is absolutely no requirement (or even a request!) that you leave credit/debit card information for your room. They will ask if you want to leave credit/debit card information in order to do express check-out. And they will ask if you want to use your credit/debit card to set up a room charge.

So when you check-in, pay the balance with your work credit card, and DON'T sign up for express check-out. If you then set up a room charge, tell them you're doing it with your personal debit card. On check-out morning, make sure they charge any incidentals (room service, phone calls) to your work credit card, which you'll need to give to them again. But you will reconcile your room charge account with your personal debit card.
